If ever there was a day for Venetia Williams to fire in the winners it would be at Ffos Las in January with the rain falling down. Eaststone Buck's (300/1) didn't indicate an imminent return to form in the 1:10 race. I have had a tiny amount on Lemoncello in the 2:10 - back to hurdles after two falls over fences.

I am running a private match bet on whether Venetia can train a winner before my water supply is reconnected. One of the water butts is full and unfrozen waiting for when the cold water tank is empty.
