Yes Danny that's him, I differ in opinion to you I think they are great write ups however they are not for me as I only back 10/1 or bigger very rarely go under 10/1
Like all the AI stuff floating around now they always seem to go for a horse quoted 1st, 2nd or 3rd fav sure yer granny can pick thoses ffs

Like i said i haven't really read that much as it'd be similar to what i used to do myself so that was enough for me.

As a side note Im sure you invited me in to join that forum about 7 years before i packed the game in. Im also fairly sure you gave me some access to things you'd paid for within that group and did so for free. So i know you're a good guy amd a decent sort. It was roughly the same time as Slims whatsapp group unfortunately it all came at a bad time for me so I never really gave either chance or really contributed anything. And tbh ive been drunk since then so it is what it is. Although I am actually over a month sober and plan to remain so, so hopefully I'll be ready to return to my sparkling best by the spring.

Behind the (predictable/lovable) decidedly Ianesque nature of Ian's comment above, there's an important point that I was on the cusp of posting several times this morning and decided it wasn't valuable to say.

But actually, it might be valuable for some. And that point (or those points) is/are for anyone thinking of taking advantage of this (paid) service or, indeed, any other similar.

(Note: that's patently not (and never would be) going to be any of the regular posters here, but it might be some who prefer just to read and take it all in, especially if any are newer to the game).

You might have valid reasons for doing so. You might think you need this sort of stuff. You might 'just' not have the time to dyor. You might think it's the dog's bollocks. You might even have had some winners on the back of it (though I'd suggest that nothing I've ever seen on it so far did actually name a winner, but probably there were one or two).

For info of its type, and fwiw, I'd say this is one of the better ones I've seen.

But...

  • If you know horses and horse racing, or are prepared to work at it and have the time to 'know' horses and horse racing, you 100% don't need it (as Slim indicated some 20 posts back).
  • You'll get a lot more pleasure/satisfaction from working it out yourself (though there are paid services involving the use of data in different ways which can help contribute towards that pleasure/satisfaction).
  • You'll get better chances of backing winners (for free) just by following the thoughts/selections of several members here.
  • Indeed, there are multiple ways to identify your own (potentially winning) bets in a fraction of the time without trawling through reams of 'trend-based' heavy wording based on someone else's opinions (though, again note, using trend-based data yourself to identify bets that others might not identify can have its value).
All that said, it would be interesting to hear from anyone who does pay for a service like this, explaining why.

Maybe there are some valid thought processes I'm missing.

But - on the face of it - it just can't be about winner volume or profits, because there isn't (and never will be) a service (that doesn't involve your own thoughts and knowledge, or others free thoughts and knowledge) that will give anyone anything more than noted above.

you are talking to someone who was stupid enough to pay Mr Booth (Isiris) £1000 annually and as usual with most gamblers you tend to remember the odd few good winners then forget about the member fee plus all the losers.

but here is one for you I think I told it on here before in November 2000 on a Thursday I rang the line it was a load of bolox so if you didnot pay the grand up front you could ring the premium number at £1.50 a minute then you got ....well its a lovely morning here in Newmarket....the f$%*er lived in Scotland

and it took him 3 minutes to mention the first horse but not today......well we have no race horse bets today but we do have a Christmas bet....BOB THE BUILDER to be number one at Christmas...top of the pops it was the era when WESTLIFE were number one all the time. I managed to get €20 on at 14/1` with five local bookmakers roll on Christmas day and when it got to the countdown I still recall the presenter saying westlife were number two which means we have a new number one.

He had only managed to get a hold of the list of shops the bbc were using to work out the sales for the Christmas number one.

Loads on other sneaky bets like that but never ever worth 1k per year

Good writing is not cheap, especially if it is sulphuric, topical and honest. I pay for this one and would highly recommend the small amount charged to support one of our own.

I received a call at 12:58 today, 01/02/2026. The caller did not identify himself, but the voice was quite familiar. He mentioned the address where my daughter lives.

To quote the unidentified caller exactly: “If you keep putting things up online about me, I'll put a bullet in your head.”

I no longer watch these types of programmes but there was a talent programme about 20 years ago, Saturday evenings, I think. When it got to the later stages it was discussed on here and I happened to mention I’d felt from week 1 that Will Young was a league apart from everybody else even though he’d had to go through additional stuff on the way through.

I then got a PM from Lord H telling me someone in his family worked at the TV company and WY had won every single weekly vote by a mile and that if I fancied him to win he was 11/2 with the bookies.

I can’t remember why but I decided not to take the bet and of course WY won by a landslide.

Cue for a song?

Regrets, I’ve had a few…

With threats like that, you’d rather them knowing your address than your children's address.

Nobody likes a grass, but when children are mentioned and threatened, theres a line. Hopefully police look into his money making sham as well as the threats, however empty they may or may not be

T'was just a joke brother. Making light of assasination threats is just what i like to do on a Sunday afternoon at work.

Yes some of the later bets where in these shows...I didn't get it at the time but seemingly some of the voting lines could not take as many calls as some of the others....they gave the young scouser Craig at evens to win the first big brother I think.

i dont understand Waterford Whispers, he should be an open goal on his current mark
For me it would be his second to Ile Atlantique just over a year agao.

To be fair he's just pounds better in for that run; nearly a stone so I'm thinking that he' might go close if on the button today.

Well just in case if you have a nice watch you could leave me , its probably time to get your affairs in order.

I stopped wearing watches after I threw one in a letter box that an ex had bought me.

Two problems. The yard is out of form and, off 130, wouldn’t they just wait for the novice handicap at the Festival? If I thought he was fancied today, I’d have to be on him.

Both of you are right. It's better if it was my address and secondly it's complete bluster. Notice he hasn't pushed back in public on the what I've written because it's factual.
