My other half’s son saw V yesterday and said he is looking magnificent, much better than he was last year. We shall see.
Yeah. KC's breeding suggests that stamina would be an issue here, eh? In truth, I see the same issue with Zardozi but of course I hope they run well. It's all a bit 'guessy'; don't know my arse from my elbow. As you say: "Total stab."I've taken Zardozi (12/1, top on RPRs and a Godolphin in a handicap).
And 150/1 Knights Choice (third top on RPRs but never raced beyond 12f before) so a total stab.

Like Knight's Choice, 90/1 SP locally. The Melbourne Cup - full of locally-trained horses who have never raced over 2m, aren't bred to stay, but at least one of them usually does.
I'd want to a better reason to be setting my alarm for 4am, frankly.
Well done DO, that'll pay for something!
Just watched it now.I'm an Aussie racing fan and I remember a few years ago Robbie was interviewed after a big Saturday winner and said -my father's neighbours at home will definitely know I've ridden a winner. That was outrageous ; some win and back story.
Go Robbie !
Ten years on from Max Dynamite I can still remember how drained I was going back to bed at 4:20.The Melbourne Cup - full of locally-trained horses who have never raced over 2m, aren't bred to stay, but at least one of them usually does.

You, my friend, are a GENIUS!!I've taken Zardozi (12/1, top on RPRs and a Godolphin in a handicap).
