Ante-Post Punting Plans/Propositions Thread.

This is some winning run Martator is on.

I remember really fancying him when he was beaten at just 6/5 at Newbury last season.

Won five races on the bounce now. They've found the key to him.

Not ante-post any more but Bravemansgame looks a bit overpriced in the Betfair chase.
Happy enough with 3rd there as SkyBet paid out. Thought they’d revert to 2 places when 2 came out as the T&Cs said industry standard terms will apply if less than 8 run (they were 4 places if all 9 ran)

I can't believe he ran it on that ground.
What ever slim chance he had at Kempton, has gone after that grueller.
If he was mine. He'd be put away till the Ryanair.

The slagging I gave Venetia on Saturday and I fancy one, knew it would happen.

Peterborough on Sunday Hills bet:
Protektorat and Ginny's Destiny 9/4
Djelo 4s
GA Law 5s

Not sure GD and GA Law will run given the December Gold Cup is the following weekend and the last time Protektorat went right handed he made a lot of errors at Wincanton. Wrong race for him. So Djelo it is.

I really like the horse I put up the other Saturday that won, Dr T J Eckleburg, ante post for the handicap at Aintree this Saturday. He's around 7 or 8s at the moment.

He pulled clear with General Medrano back in second, and General Medrano has come out to frank the form nicely in a class two handicap chase the weekend just gone.

The Dr has a serious chance, imho, I just hope he's declared. Assuming he is, I think he wins.

The Dr was raised to 117 from 112 after his win the other day.

Now it appears his official mark is 119, although he should run off 117 if he's a runner on Saturday.

I reckon the handicapper has raised him another 2lb because General Medrano won easy the other day.

Looks like he is officially 2lbs well in for Saturday.

I've had a cursory glance through the Becher Chase and have taken an early punt on Arizona Cardinal generally 14/1 across the boards. 5lb higher than when winning here and over these fences in the spring over 2m5f from James de berlais and recent Hennessey winner Kandoo kid. He's got 3 mile form in the book on soft ground so everything should suit the only reason I can see that he's not favourite for this is he pulled up last time out on good ground at Chepstow on his seasonal bow. He pulled up last season on his seasonal bow before winning his next few races so whilst it's a concern its not a huge concern and I think he's worth a punt.

Ah well, he's in the final declarations, and that's often half the battle.

Clearly this is a step up from last time, but the form with General Medrano has worked out really well, so I'm hopeful the good Dr can serve it up to his higher rated rivals.

Noted he's had a breathing op after his first run last time so hopefully that was the problem and the op has done the trick. Made it through the 48 hour declaration stage so that's the main thing.

This race coming up must be a fair renewal, as Nickle Back and Minella Drama have a bit of talent yet are both available at 20/1 plus.

I wouldn't put anyone off backing both E/W in this five runner race.

You'll break even or thereabouts if one places.

Protectorate seemed to hate the course but could never have won anyway being ridden out the back like that on a speed track. Absolutely hopeless tactics from the Skeltons.

Wrong race for him as you said Euro. Well done

Anyone have any views on the racing this weekend?

Le Patron and Gemirande both interesting for that race on Saturday I reckon.
