    Bet Victor Gold Cup

Put in the wrong BetVictor race it would appear. What's more bizarre is that he's Bet365 have him at 6/1 joint favourite for a 3m 3f race he won't be running in!

I stand corrected! That's what you get for listening to American commentators at midnight and not double checking - I should know better!

    melbourne cup

Absolutely right - amazing effort. First Northern hemisphere bred horse to win since 1910 - and a 3 year old at that! oh...and I suspect the Racing Post may change this headline by the morning: Father beats son as Rekindling reels in Vermeer in Melbourne Cup <attachment></attachment>

You guys are funny. We ran to the rating with the 4th so that helps but 2 pounds would be our expectation. Delighted with that and good to see him see out the race again. We're thinking Paddy Power next.

Bay of Freedom is going for a repeat win in the Listed Race at Wexford (3.20) As you can tell from the blog http://www.cheltenhamdream.com/blog-diary/2017/10/30/still-searching-for-clarity I am not overly confident but he is in great form and we must try and remain hopeful. A Genie in Abottle...

Same issue here. Can get in through Firefox (if I tell it to ignore warnings) but Safari isn't having it. I have removed cookies but am reluctant to remove cache in case I lose saved passwords. What's causing this?

Kevin can do 9:13 (just) - he's lost a lot of weight recently as when he came back in July he was at 11 stone. I'lll be posting a blog later but, for now, we saw Bay of Freedom at the stables this morning and he has never looked better or brighter. You never know quite what to expect from him...

Irish Field is quoting Mark Bradstock as saying that Coneygree won't travel if the ground is too heavy. He will be speaking to the Clerk tomorrow morning and then decide (he is due to travel Sunday). It was still Soft, Heavy in places this morning but (according to Accuweather) Listowel has had...

It's Soft, Heavy in places at the moment. It's been fairly dry today but there is quite a bit of rain forecast over the next days and it will be enough to keep the ground at least soft and , probably, heavy. The ground will be very testing and many horses will just not act on it. Shanpallas ran...

I totally agree. I hope Bay of Freedom gets in (we need eight to come out) as the ground looks like being soft and he likes the track and might just surprise a few people (including me). Half of the others either don't fully stay 3 miles or, if they do, have shown their best form on faster...

    Galway

Having been very quiet of late, I have to put in a good word for Mine Now in the the 3.05 (Saturday). The form of his 4th behind Swamp Fox looks really good with the winner just being caught of a 14 pounds higher rating in the Galway Hurdle, and 4 out of the 5 horses who have run since having...

Bay of Freedom is running on Sunday in his comeback race over hurdles. He is well and, despite not being the same horse over hurdles, has a definite chance. You can read more here http://www.cheltenhamdream.com/blog-diary/ but the main reason for posting tonight (would normally be tomorrow) is...

    Daily picks.

Very interested in Deans Road (4.25 Listowel). I have been waiting for him to come out again after his Cheltenham run when he literally came to a stop after the 9th fence; under the circumstances, he ran really well to have every chance between the last two only to tire. He runs well fresh, has...

    What are you backing Today?

Cloudy Dream had a really difficult task last time out and not convinced about A Hare Breath over fences. Looks like today's best bet Lilshane acts on the course and is well weighted in the 3.10 Naas. This could be his annual win 2pts win Cloudy Dream 2.30 Donc @ 7/4 Bet365 BOG 1pt win...
