It was fantastic back in the day, before Northern Racing took it over. The paddock was around the back and the saddling boxes and pre parade ring were to the left. It was a proper Grade 1 jumps track......and Martin Pipe won so many races there, some called it Pipestow.

How does Betfair manage the "in running" odds when nobody can see what's happening?

Are those covers that Cheltenham used a couple of years ago still being used? They covered the whole course I think?

Just to expand this to cover past trainers, I would put Jenny Pitman as one of the best trainers of chasers. I used to go racing much much more in the 90's and her chasers were some of the finest looking horses I can remember. They knew how to do their job too.

Lord Windermere ran a very good race too. Great to have them both back.
