We have had to regroup with her and give her plenty of time. She is starting to work very nicely and we will try and look for a maiden for her in the next fortnight."

"She finally got rid of her seconditis at Pontefract in September after finishing runner-up four times on the trot. We put her away after and she has probably surprised me the most of the Winter - she has put on about 45kg. She looks like a different filly and if she can continue to put her head in front she could be quite well in off her mark."

Won a good PTP 2 years ago beating the likes of Askamore Darsi and Blacklion. I can forgive his first race over fences at 2m on very heavy ground. So a chance is taken that they have sorted him out and the longer trip will suit. Trainer has an excellent record with chasers at this track.

"She runs at Gowran Park on Sunday. She's a big filly that ran well in her only start last season. I think she'll improve as she matures and steps up in trip, a mile-and-a-half should suit her well. She'll need the run a bit on Sunday, but I expect her to improve from her debut. Good ground will probably suit her well, but she should handle a little ease."

Aiden O'Brien has won the last 4 renewals of this race and John Oxx won the two before that - John's record is 5 entries 2 winners and 3 x 2nd's. The last time he raced a filly in this race she won by 7L. At the prices she represents the value bet for me but I shall do a r/f/c with Aidens horse as the last 5 times they have both had runners they had the f/c 4 times.
