and just to keep Bruce happy;)

MOVE TO STRIKE

Was very impressed with Forester, looked well forward and appears to have a good brain. There's usually one of O'Briens early horses worth following and I'm expecting to see this one at Royal Ascot.

I would put Heavy Metal in there Colin, likely to be a Royal Ascot 2yo on his Brighton win.

Move To Strike best 2yo we're likely to see in Ireland this year and worth a bet for the 2000 Guineas.

There hasn't been anything outstanding with most of the racing on soft ground lately, some formlines working out through the more obvious ones like storm moon and baileys jubilee.Need to see a lot more before on decent ground to make any sort of judgements,i only had judy in disguise down as i knew it would be value with turner training it.I had that down as fasest run on gd/dead ground as it was eased and it won at 16/1 at sailsbury next run, just waiting to see a few more before i put some together.

From the same Newbury maiden SMOOTHTALKINRASCAL had only to be pushed out to win nicely.

RECKLESS ABANDON won impressively on debut for Clive Cox at Doncaster.

Interesting debut for Lovely Pass for Godolphin at Lingfield 5.55.

Slowly away and then hung left must have given away about 20 lengths, still green and hanging when in the lead towards the far side and still managed to win comfortably.

Reminded me of a similar horse they run at York who was about 30 lengths behind but the name escapes me now, it was a filly around the 2010-2011 season?

She turned out to be useless in the end Colin.

Yep looked unreal to watch yet the race was 2.61 seconds slower than piddies power winning off 74,even if you thought it was 13ls better than this result and the other 6 pounds that piddies power carried you would probably only have it bordering on maybe listed class. No doubt will be massively overbet on next run and could be a false price.

Nottingham 22.5 WINDHOEK and JANOUB NIBRAS pulled away from the rest.

UPWARD SPIRAL impressive on debut at Sandown 24.5

Possibly the best race of the season held at the Curragh 26.5 CAY VERDE, DYLANBURU, INFANTA BRANCA, LIBERATING and LOTTIE DOD all put in good performances.

York 26.5 PAY FREEZE continued Mick Channon's good season when just about making all and keeping on well.

Leicester 28.5 and ARTIGIANO won well for Godolphin beating Pearl Noir by six lengths.

ANNUNCIATION put up a fast time when winning the novices race at Windsor 28.5 in impressive fashion.

National Stakes at Sandown 31.5 won in good style by SIR PRANCELOT after not having the easiest of passages.

Epsom 2.6 the Woodcote Stakes and the first three home CHILWORTH ICON, HEAVY METAL and LIGER all put up useful performances.

At Musselburgh 2.6 AHERN's performane got the time gurus all excited.

Naas 4.6 DAWN APPROACH maintained his unbeaten run, not without a fight but staying on well final furlong.

Kempton 6.6 JUBILEE BRIG franked BUNGLEINTHEJUNGLE's Salisbury form with a commanding performance on the Polytrack.

THA 'IR Ripon 6.6 took a big step up from his debut at this track and ran right away from his more fancied stable-companion in the final furlong.

It's Only Business just finished about sixth in the 18.10 at WIndsor on his second start. Stood out due to fact he only faded in the final 100 yards despite the saddle having slipped for 7lb claimer Jack Duern. Was a very eye catching run under the circumstances, and I will definitely be backing next time out in a nursery.

With Ascot upon us we should have some idea by the end of the week on the relative merits of the early season 2-y-o form.

Sandown June 7th. and the Richard Hannon horde keep on winning, RHAMNUS dropped back to a stiff five won nicely in a good time.

On the following day at Goodwood the same trainer's OLYMPIC GLORY was an impressive winner on debut.

Up at Newmarket on the same afternoon NEWFANGLED (John Gosden) was another impressive debutant.

Pontefract June 11th. and this time it was Peter Chapple-Hyam revealing another impressive debutant in the shape of AGENT ALLISON.

June 14th. and it's over to Leopardstown for yet another impressive first-time
winner, HARASIYA (John Oxx). After missing the break he ran on really well over the seven furlongs to win easily.

At Newbury the same afternoon it was the Hannon team again who introduced a useful-looking debutant by the name of TORONADO. Can you have too many good 2-y-os?

York June 15th. and Richard Fahey horses dominated the finish of the first race on the card. FLYMAN and TANGHAN both having their first experience on the racecourse pulled comfortably away from their opponents with the former prevailing at the line.
