I like this race. I had some time to kill last year waiting for a lift and went in the bookies. Had a tenner on something in the Fred Winter that was well down the field and then split the last tenner between Briar Hill and Doctor Harper in the bumper, both were 33/1. It made that half an hour pretty good.
Anyway, the entries are in for this year and the Mullins team is Shaneshill, Black Hercules and Killultagh Vic, the top three in the betting. Predictably, I fancy Definitely Red to run into the frame at a big price (25/1 currently) and Jason Maguire is up to ride already. Lovely horse this.
