2017 Ryanair Chase

Winner did fine in conditions against.
A pity he had not been campaigned in other way could have been a champion hurdler and champion chase winner

Empire of Dirt, the ride was given was worse than awfull, the job is too big for Cooper, will be sacked at the end of the season

Do you never think before you type?

Which Champion Hurdle could he have won. He was a 6 year old in 2014 when he scraped home carrying only 11 stone in a Grade 3 hurdle in France under Barry Geraghty and never even had a sniff at a Grade 1 Hurdle at that stage.

In the meantime Jezki was in his prime winning the Champion Hurdle on fastish ground and was running in Grade 1's along with other Grade 1 winners like Hurricane Fly, Our Conor and My Tent Or Yours.

The following year UDS was starting to make a name for himself over fences and any suggestion he could have beaten Faugheen in 2015 is just crazy.

His Arkle win does not even come close in any way to Sprinter Sacre's or Douvan's and he was annihilated by an older Sprinter Sacre twice in a month.

Sure he might have won this years 2 mile Champion Chase but only because something went amiss with Douvan but that is not what you are saying.

Where these two races are you say UDS would have won beats the hell out of me.

As for his ride on Empire of Dirt he did nothing wrong the horse just ran a stinker. To be fair to Cooper the horse has only just stepped up into the big time and the IGC may well have flattered him.
Let's not forget he is a Cheltenham winner but in a grade 3 handicap and this was a massive step up in class for the horse........maybe he just isn't good enough and that's why he went here and not the Gold Cup????
