Couldn't have Love at any price; She' yet to have a proper test, whereas Enable is well proven. Wouldn't surprise if RM rode another.

I think it'll be a cracking race, I'm unashamedly looking forward to Sunday.

I was hoping Way To Paris would win the trial, but anyways, I'll still have a few kopeks each way in the event of an untimely upset.

It should be al lively betting heat too, with plenty of different viable opinions of different chances being shared.

I'm sure there were people saying the same stuff about the quality of last years renewal, but look what it produced, a result where I actually landed the winner. :)

I've just taken the 12/1 e/w with 365 about Sottass. Only 3 places unfortunately but he's shortening markedly elsewhere and will shorten more as the rain continues to come, especially if he gets a decent draw (presume this happens this morning).

I'll go in again if that price holds up after the 72 hour decs and draw.

I'd love to see Enable win but can't be backing her at that price on this ground.

Benefits my Sottass bet only a few minutes before but robs the race of real quality and it's a truly terrible renewal now. If it were on decent ground you'd expect Enable to hose up.

Think Love was a cert to be withdrawn especially when they supplemented Serpentine. And I don’t blame them. She is an exceptional filly but she’s 3 and has a good ground action. Why would you want to pull the guts out of her and get her beaten? Is she likely to go for the BC now?

The Draw

1 In Swoop (Ronan Thomas)
2 Raabihah (Maxime Guyon)
3 Mogul (Ryan Moore)
4 Sottsass (Cristian Demuro)
5 Enable (Frankie Dettori)
6 Way To Paris (Ioritz Mendizabal)
7 Persian King (Pierre-Charles Boudot)
8 Royal Julius (Shane Foley)
9 Gold Trip (Stephane Pasquier)
10 Sovereign (Mickael Barzalona)
11 Japan (Yutaka Take)
12 Deirdre (Jamie Spencer)
13 Chachnak (Tony Piccone)
14 Stradivarius (Olivier Peslier)
15 Serpentine (Christophe Soumillon)

Mogul's draw is fine. Not so sure he handled cut at York, though. His dam was certainly a fast ground horse.
Serpentine may have to replicate his Derby performance, from his outside box.

Highly unlikely, imo. Despite all the prophets of doom, the meeting regularly turns up ground drier than predicted.
