If you get a chance Chris, have £50 on Hannah's turn at Southwell today. Il do the same this end for the charity.

Just seen this, managed to get on at 2's.

Looked at it earlier and decided against it at 5/2, but I don't like Southwell. Looks well in on my figures, so probably the value call. Can run the odd stinker though, thats what put me off.

Fingers crossed.

No good earlier in the week.

Tonight we have £100 on rummaging for the charity. Ignore the last run when draw ruined the horse. Look at his previous couple of runs. I cannot see how he loses with a clear run. 3/1 taken.

Can't believe theres no comments yet.

WELL DONE DEL BOY!
I had a dabble myself and will be tossing an extra 150 in as a result. Got home half pissed and couldn't keep awake, but what a thing to wake up to.:)

Great stuff. Enjoy that feeling of goodwill when you donate to the School, it's what Christmas is all about. Although the comp was a bit of a flop in terms of numbers and no replenishing of lives was had, it worked in the end and thats what counts. It's made my Christmas.:)

Only just revisited this thread...Brilliant pick by Del Boy to finish the comp off and a huge well done to Chris for your generosity & organizing everything. Great stuff

Great work Chris. Glad it worked out, the horse needed a gap a furlong or so out and it came just at the right time!

Il look forward to making the donation, I've changed my mind given our department of educations attitude and have decided to split the money between a local Alzheimer's centre, and a centre in the town I work in called "Drumlin house resource centre", a place where special needs people over the age of 16 can go and get involved in all sorts of activities. I see them each week when on lunch and they get so much enjoyment out of it. It is also a massive help to their families to have a such a service, in the case of both charities. Il post a link to both when I get onto the laptop later.

Big thanks to Chris for making it happen though, he deserves a lot of credit.

Sounds good. PM me your address and I'll have someone in the UK post a cheque to you.

I'm trying to think of a way where we could have something happening for charities on a more regular basis. I'll ponder over it during the next week or two.
