Aintree - Other Races

I like Shakem Up'Arry in the 4.15. He has run some decent races in solid handicaps over shorter and he looks like he is still on the right side of the handicapper. He has been shaping like this trip will suit him and he is a fair bit less exposed than a lot of these. With Skybet paying 5 places, and 5/1, I think he is an each way to nothing. I also like Coconut Splash at bigger odds, and think he could be quite well treated and yard is finding a bit of good.

Double chufffed because he was my 3rd winner of the feature Gd1's.
Maybe this NH game ain't so bad, after all.:)

I'm gonna smash this flat season EC, guaranteed. I didn't think it was possible to have a negative ROI as bad as this jumps season. Everything went wrong, a large slice of it my fault certainly from Cheltenham onwards.

He is, and I'm not judging him based on his previous run as that was below Grade 1 level it's just frustrating to see him showing his best whilst his stable companions who arguably had better form did nothing. I find Elliott so hit and miss.
 
HILL CREST for next years staying hurdle.
Must have a chance when an Eleven year old keeps winning these staying hurdlers.

Elliot is the typical dart thrower trainer, just aims loads at a race. He isn't a nice man either.

If these trainers like him had to aim one horse at a race they would win f**k all.

The problem with this game is that when you do get success, you can afford to be a lazy trainer, just shove horses in a race, one will win. It isn't skill, it is just money based nonsense.

It is simple really, just stick 5 in a race. Not good training though is it? because the brilliant trainer just puts one in...and wins

Irish point's form was/is rock solid, he was second to Marione Nationale in a Royal Bond and second to Champ Kiely in the Lawlors of Nass. Your talking like it was some complete no mark that won, he should have been favourite in all honesty.

Err no it really hasn't, only in your own mind. The only point made is that you support someone who should have been kicked out of horse racing for good. How do you think that makes you look smart? The moment you supported a shitbag like Elliott, you nailed your colours. The man is just scum, you know it and the racing world knows it. I have no strong regard either way for Elliott the trainer. I'm not convinced he's straight but I'd also struggle to name a trainer who is completely straight.

I do think it's wide of the mark to suggest he's just a dart thrower. He hasn't had all those good horses through his hands and won all those G1s by throwing darts.

He's been very lucky to have been supported by some extremely rich owners willing to send him all those well-bred darts.

What I think of him as a person is best kept off a racing forum.
 
There’s a reason Elliott gets sent good horses, and it isn’t because he’s a dart-thrower trainer…..imho.

Had a good Thursday/Friday, but gave a chunk of it back yesterday. Swings and arrows. Onto Punchestown and Sandown, then a 5-month snooze.
 
I was having a bad night worrying about my girl cat. Sorry to Beef for my comments. Things are a bit grim at EC towers at moment, hope my apology is accepted by BOS. Dart throwing comment was stupid.
