That was our local leisure centre and where we used to go to lose a few pounds in the sauna when needed whilst at David Elsworths.
 
That it was indeed - my aunt lived very near Elsie's yard (so she tells me - I was too young to be able to remember) as she was about 5-10 mins away from Sandy Balls, in a plac called Frogham I think. I used to stay with her as a kid & we would go swimming at Sandy Balls - it was one of the first places I'd been to that had a jacuzzi by the swimming pool; as I was about 7-8 I used to love it!

As the ones for Ma are virtually identical to Arkwrights/Griffin's I stuck in Dad's gaff - home for the last 19 years. There are still a load that are the same as Arkwrights though! I'm surprised that Tutt's Clump didn't make it in there - it is usually ridiculed! Legend has it that Tutt's Clump received it's name from the clump in the outside of the (very tiny) village where General Tutt was said to have rested his horses during the Civil War.
