Juddmonte Farms are pleased to report the arrival of the first foal by world champion racehorse FRANKEL. Dual Group-winning mare Chrysanthemum produced an attractive bay colt at 20.30 on Saturday 11th January 2014 at Coolmore Stud in Ireland. The stud reported that the foal is a handsome colt with a good head, a white blaze and great presenc...e.

Juddmonte Farms General Manager Philip Mitchell commented: “From the reports that I have received FRANKEL's first foal is everything we could have hoped for. These are very exciting times for everyone who has supported the horse and we much look forward to the rest of his first crop of foals.”

Chrysanthemum was the first mare scanned in foal to FRANKEL last year, and this is her first foal.

Frankel covered 133 mares at £125,000 a time in his first season as a stallion, earning owners Juddmonte Farms an estimated £15 million

TWEENHILLS Farm and Stud in Gloucestershire has welcomed the first foal by its young sire Harbour Watch.
The new arrival is a filly foal out of the Invincible Spirit mare Brazilian Breeze who was born at 10pm on Tuesday

She's a darling, love the video. Are Coolmore waiting for their colts third birthday before they release a pic or have I missed it??

Ridiculously excited about Frankel's babies....

Not as far as I know of, its all been about the filly so far, you would have thought they would put a photo up on their website but nothing that I can see

Coolmore not released any pics yet...but the National Stud have been brilliant, and this little lady is stealing the limelight, and rightly so :)

Same here Fizzbw

Ballymacoll report that Islington has produced a Dubawi filly. This is her 8th foal, and they've all been filiies (none of them with 80% of their mum's ability).

They also report a colt by the champion Australian sire Redoute's Choice out of Fleur de Cactus, who happens to be a Montjeu half-sister to Fiorente's dam. She, Desert Bloom, is to be covered by Redoute's Choice this year. A ready-made market in Australia for either of these if they show some ability.

The Frankel filly is lovely, if a little handy. Got a chance to see her when picking up my quarantine mare today.

I'm expecting foals by Foxwedge, New Approach and Teofilo. Mares going to Camelot, Decleration Of War and two undecided.

Meisque, I hope you will have photos for us when they are all safely arrived?

What does "a little handy" mean? It's a loooong time since I did stud work...

Just found out this photo is NOT Danedream with her foal, well done the RP!

The photo is Danedream as a foal & her dam
