Ascot - Champions Day

Very good winner (even if I can't get excited about him), and excellent runs from SYT and Snow Fairy, confirming their relative form and the form of the race overall only 13 days after their Arc efforts. Midday maybe a little unlucky as she was buffeted back a bit after a couple of furlongs before staying on, but she would never have caught the winner.
 
I enjoyed it too. I like horses full stop whether its flat, jumps whatever. I only bet small but had my first winning lucky 15 today with Fame And Glory, Deacon Blues, Dancing Rain and Frankel so cant complain :)
 
enjoyed today very much..prefer the Champion stakes here..never been that keen on the race at Newmarket

Entirely agree. Ascot is just right for such a day and i can see this going from strength to strength. Hope so

Weather was blessed but read in Times few weeks back that mid October is one of the most benign times for sun (in the south anyway) of the year

I was at Ascot today and enjoyed it greatly. Beautiful weather, a comfortable sized crowd, excellent racing and Frankel delivered.

For the future, though, they need more than five and a half races, and the juveniles should have their place on the card.
