Always a great race, and deserving of its own thread, as usual.
The weights aren't announced, so no OR for Arctic Fire as yet, but the handicapper isn't likely to take many chances with him, and I reckon he'll get 158 minimum, based on his Ryanair Hurdle run. Mullins might chose to swerve the race for an easier target at home, as he's an inexperienced horse to be carrying top-weight in such a competitive handicap.
I always like to have a couple of speculative ante-post dashes on this race, so have anchored my early view around GMOOH running under top-weight. I reckon he's almost a certain starter, and his mark of 151 isn't going to be a million miles away from 11-12, in AF's absence (Garde De La Victoire has the highest published rating of 154).
The two I like pre-weights are Top Notch and Lucky Bridle - 888 are a stand-out 25/1 about both. I forget why I picked them, but will post when I remember.
Edit: Err....that's the BETfair Hurdle! *
* First one to mention Robin, Gotham, The Joker or Commissioner Gordon, gets a virtual raspberry.
