Ex-Trainer Brendan Powell will remain that in the UK for at least 12 months...

10.00am - Brendan Powell
The independent Disciplinary Panel of the British Horseracing Authority will convene on Thursday 7 May 2020 to consider whether or not Brendan Powell, a licensed trainer at the time of the alleged breaches of the Rules of Racing, is in breach of Rule (A)30 by engaging in conduct considered to be prejudicial to the integrity, proper conduct or good reputation of horseracing in Great Britain due to:

i) Failing to notify the owner of a horse under his care and control that the horse was injured and required surgery;
ii) Allowing surgery to be carried out on a horse under his care and control without the owner's knowledge or consent;
iii) Failing to inform the owner that a horse had undergone surgery and misleading him about the condition of the horse;
iv) Making entries for a horse despite knowing that the horse would be unfit to race

Not a good look and wonder if Joseph was aware when he got that gig?

When is this supposed to have happened? He hasn't had a licence for a while?

The charges relate to the period between October 25 and December 23, 2017.

Powell could have faced a disqualification of up to three years from racing or a fine of up to £15,000.

It seems ironic that his role in Joseph’s yard is to go racing and look after the owners and syndicates with horses in the yard.
