Amazing improvement shown by TOTAL REBELLION for the application of first-time blinkers at Ayr today.

First time in a handicap sent off at 16/1 when his previous prices under rules had been 25/1 (beaten 66 lengths), 50/1 (65 lengths), 100/1 (49 lengths) and 50/1 (close up beaten 18.5 lengths). Made all and clear 2 out today.

I was tempted to put this up on the "corruption" thread but I think there are a few Donald McCain fans on here and I didn't want to upset them.;).
 
Looks like he was carrying a stone more than he should have been too...bad race though the second has similar dismal form figures!
 
Wouldn't the price need to be very much shorter than 16/1 to qualify this win as corrupt?
