Bobbits Way

The owners background makes for interesting reading - FWIW the yard seldom miss when the cash is down and Alan Jones is possibly the shrewdest operator in British racing.

Good luck to them. If they've sorted out something that was ailing the horse and he's now back to the form of his ptp debut there's nothing wrong with them having a punt.

But would it have taken much to produce a drop in price like that in morning trading on a small race?

And wouldn't it have been shrewder to wait till nearer the off to have their money on, first because they might get a better price or get more on at the same price, second because they've now given the game away for next time out?

Does he have a pointing background Martin? I must keep an eye out for his horses...never knew he was a known 'shrewdie'?

Seem to remember him having a winner the Monday before Cheltenham, backed in from about 33-1 to 7-2, form figures PPPPPP...

I'd imagine you'd need a fairly big Bobbit.....way bigger than mine.

And we complete the circle - hurrah
