Dreadful news trickling out from Boston.
The images of wholly innocent people suffering limb-dismemberment and other serious injury is appalling. I sincerely there is no further increase in the current reported fatality level (2).
Feck sake, I had thought this terrorism thing had been overcome. :mad:
 
I don't either -- unless he's saying that those dead and maimed Bostonians got what they deserved because of donations raised by the IRA in the city 25 years ago?
But no rational human being could think such thing. Could they?

Hes not saying they deserved it and nor would i but there were plenty of bostonians who would have high fived after the birmingham pub bombings and given plenty.
 
I was merely pondering whether Bostonians felt so happy about funding terrorism (in the past) when it was their own people getting blown up?

To read that into what I said is, well, a bit mental. Maybe some treatment would help.

It is much the same as if I had read Icebreaker's initial post to mean that it would have been ok if there were no images of dismemberment.

Not true about claiming the credit. Aq doesn't always do so Furthermore the domestic terrorists, such as they have been, have gone for government institutions (in a perverted sense)

Any reading-between-the-lines of your post would reasonably give an interpretation of the true flavour of it. The tone was triumphalist and celebratory.
And your fanboy's -- Clivex's -- endorsement of the same sentiments by adding a smirking smiley does him no favour either.
Please explain to me how a dead eight-year-old little boy and the other seriously injured children were in any way culpable for the Birmingham pub bombings and thus got their just desserts.
So get off your right-wing high horse, and show a bit of human compassion for once in your strict eye-for-an-eye-worldview life. The only "mental" attitude in this thread so far is your own schadenfreude which is a bit sick in the current context.

If our Islamic cousins changed their strategy to this kind of incident they could cause absolute havoc on a daily basis and would be near impossible to stop.
Hospitals, schools, shops etc instead of guarded targets that are too hard to reach

I found it unusually annoying to have some eejit come along and try to tell me what I was thinking after I had explained that I wasn't thinking it. I was especially miffed by the suggestion that clivex is my fanboy.
