Breeders Cup

More than looks 20/1 in the mile. Cracking run in the Coolmore turf from a bad position. Horrid draw in this last year beat 2 lengths having gone via the car park around the bend. Smaller field better draw and a light season campaigned with only this in mind. Carl Spackler and Porta Fortuna are the ones I think give MTL most to do and will be played in the exotics.

Great result there for AOB with Lake Victoria - she really laid it down to them. Special filly.

Boootiful. Got absolutely rinsed and still got the job done. Shocking ride that squeezed her.

Easy peasy!

I've had a go on Hill Road in the 11.45, at 33s.
Very impressive on debut. Trinity College has given the form a decent look.
Pitched in at G1 level over a shorter trip next time, probably found it a bit too much.
A little rest + the thing is, that he is bred to go on this surface.
Got up for 3rd, after making a ridiculous amount of ground up.
Interesting prospect for next season.
Ew pay out, happy enough with that

Nice from Henri Matisse there. Completely ignored by the US pundits. And a good run too from Amori City.
Incredible recovery from James Doyle on Al Qodra.

Two wins for me with Citizen Bull and Henri Matisse tonight plus a third with Amori City - roll on tomorrow night.

Porta fortuna looks a good bet now as long as she's not over the top. Content in the fillies and mares back on good to firm ground and jayarbee in the turf as don't think the older horses have run as well this year. Luxembourg being tipped up to do a Highland reel by some US pundits. Prefer wingspan to be honest. Very progressive.

Hard to believe Aiden has failed to win the Breeders in 17 attempts. City of Troy really does need to ne something special to break his duck 🙏

In fairness to aidan he trains turf horses. Obviously being by justify gives you some hope but to run on dirt at the end of the season and it being your only go on it is some ask. The yanks don't even try to win our top turf races with their dirt horses. I suppose it makes sense commercially but I would much rather have seen cot do something special in the turf.

Ah pleased for Rebels Romance.

I lost a bit of faith after the KG where I thought he got found out, but he's done it again. Fair play.

Now the big one.

Lovely ride by Buick there on the best horse who just looks so easy. Dreadful passage for Emily...can imagine they are going to be disappointed as she was climbing over them, stuck in behind.

Yes Emily slow out the gates and ran like she wants 1M6F.

Where next for Rebels? I always wondered would they send him to the Caufield Cup or something like that. It seems not, yet anyway.

I say I lost the faith after the KG, but looking at it, he was 3 lengths behind Bluestocking who then won the Arc. So it was a actually a really good effort.

I was only just thinking of that poor pony that Brian Meehan brought back from the Breeders Cup one year who sadly died in a road traffic accident..
