Bryony Frost

Not my cup of tea either but horses do run for her and she does know what she is doing.
I assume you are exaggerating about the hair? As for riding why didn't Victoria Pendleton win the Foxhunters like Bryony did if any fooker could ride the horses she rides?

The horse ran away with Pendleton at Worcester then she was given the ride in the Foxhunters and sitting there like a sack of potatoes she gave the horse a horrendous ride.

Bryony or another decent jockey would have won a minute.

It really is not that easy.

My dug has wonderful hair.

Interesting to see La Pendleton has completely disappeared from the Racing scene despite her assurance that she loved her horses and was in it for the long term. After having her fall at Larkhill when the horse went past me rapidly getting out of control, she disappeared through the wing of the downhill fence. Pretty shaking I am sure but no worse than what she would have suffered cycling. In fact she was able to walk unaided to vehicle that brought her back and I saw her chatting with the trainer afterwards with no indication that she had suffered any sort of a long term injury. Since then, zilch! Horses she had supposedly bought are now running in new owners colours. I was prepared to give her the benefit of the doubt after initially being extremely worried about her lack of experience around Cheltenham but it seems that the whole episode was a gimmick all along. I think she's climbing Everest? Seriously doubt we will see her back on the racecourse in a race.

The only reason I mentioned Pendleton earlier was because I'd been watching the recording of last season's Festival (and fast-forwarding her bit) and I realised I had totally forgotten she'd been involved. I briefly wondered if she was working away seriously in the background to get better at the game. seems not.

It appears she's the kind of person who chases different different goals, moving on to the next challenge after she's ticked another box.

Maybe if I wait long enough she'll get to me.

If a Bucket List is a list of things you would like to do before you die, what do call a list of things you definitely don’t want to do?

They always seem a nonsense to me - 10 things to do before you die - well you are unlikely to be doing them afterwards unless you believe in reincarnation .

Meanwhile, back on topic: personally it's a joy to watch Bryony. Unlike Pendleton, she's not playing at being a jockey, she wants more than anything to be a good jockey. She loves it, the good times with the not so good. She's always giving her best. I say good luck to her. I'd rather she was over hyped that have certain flat jockeys cowed to by the media as can do no wrong.

Superb again from the lady

Frodon won 6 race over a few months before going off the boil and man many never come back after that.

PN has such a way with these horse he must take most of the credit..Brilliant training performance and what a set of balls he has giving her such an opportunity.

Our Lizzie wasn't so bad either DJ must have been thinking he had her beat but she was having none of that.

I cannot see her getting a run up the inside around the last bend at the Festival like she did today.
A joy to watch though.

Only went for that because she knew the ground was better on the inside. Hopefully that won't be an issue at the next meeting although would be difficult to have worse ground than on Saturday
