Bumper Horses 2016/17

Carter McCay looks a real beast, doesn't he! West Coast time represents a decent level and he beat him with absolute ease today. Much easier than the official winning distance. He's 7/2 NRNB with 365 now for the Festival Champion bumper and best price 5/1 with Boylesports outside of that. I wonder how definite a runner he is? Whatever the likelihood was, chances are surely significantly increased now with Getabird out.

Mullins said after xmas win he had booked his ticket to Cheltenham. He confirmed that today. I would't rule out Ballyward either tho. He was very impressive on debut.

Then you have Hendersons mare this evening. Not sure her plans but she'd be a danger getting weight.

I imagine Daphne Du Clos may just be held on to for the mares bumper at Aintree where shed hold a serious chance.

I get the buzz about Carter McKay but I just haven't been taken by him as yet. I'm excited to see what Quick Grabim can do with a penalty at Exeter tomorrow.

Looking forward to seeing Poli Roi at Navan this evening. Supposed to be a monster. Cost 300k after his point win.

Yes heard that. Jamie Codd rode both in points. Giggi asked advice on which one to buy & he advised this one.

Michael O'Leary on ATR saying he couldn't even be arsed to stick around to watch him run....bloke is such a **** sometimes.

He maybe puts it across in his own brusque manner but he has always said for years that he doesn't care for any form of flat racing.

And Daphne Du Clos very much a possibility according to Henderson getting all the allowances.

Henderson's record in the Bumper is absolutely appalling - though in his defence, he does concede it's not a race he really targets, and that DDC is probably he best runner in it yet.

Samcro continues in the footsteps of the best. Now only few pounds short on bumper ratings from his half brother.
