The best one I have heard is probably "Hello!"

The worst one I have heard is, "Have you got any Irish in you? No? Would you like some?"
 
Last week:-

Me (on discovering that waitress in restaurant in Ireland is from Essex): "Ah, so what are you doing when you finish tonight?"

Waitress: "Nothing with you!"
 
Him: "Sledge hammer"

Me: "Pardon?????????????" *with a confused expression on me chops*

Him: "Well at least it broke the ice"

Another true one.

A number of years ago one of my colleagues really fancied another but you could really tell she wasn't interested in him.

He made the mistake of calling across the car park one Friday afternoon as we were getting into the car, "Any plans for the weekend, Jean?"

Her instantaneous reply was, "Yes, but they don't involve you!"

The rest of us were p*ssing ourselves and he muttered to himself all the way home.

Me? I just wouldn't know how to chat up a woman :shy:
 
I know of a successful one to have been a very good looking trainer (as he is now-then a jock) in a tux, bow tie undone, holding a bottle of champagne at a party.....he didn't have to say a lot more!!!!! :D

Works everytime in Wigan,but there all pie eaters so i decline anyway.

Wigan is a wonderful place Euronymous as i hope you know. In fact much prefer going out in Wigan than were i currently live and have done for the best part of 20 years. The joys of Nexus, St. Helens were "if your lucky from the balcony you might see a decent fight" and also gets a brilliant right up on chavscum.co.uk
