Hexham 5.10 DREAMISI 10pts win @3.5 ave betfair
5 b g Kalanisi - Marvellous Dream.
Encouraging on sole bumper appearance when four and a half lengths third of five to Wolf Shield at Sedgefield in December.

Trainer says:
"Ran a nice race on his first start. Seems tough and genuine and jumps very well and I've done enough to know that he's a decent little horse. I would only run him in another bumper if I thought he had a very realistic chance of winning. He's only going one way."

I certainly wouldnt put you off him in that race. ;)

Hexham 5.40 Never Never 10pts win 2.02 - This horse split Off The Mark and Aminabad l/t/o at Leopardstown. Those two horses fought out the finish in a decent looking bumper at Limerick yesterday pulling well clear of the third. Donald McCain paid £38,000 pound for this horse and has booked McCoy.

Plumpton 3.20 Amazing D'Azy 5pts e/way 6.2 & 2.36

Trainer says;
"Plumpton is not one of my regular haunts so a rare visit but one I hope will be rewarding as Amazing D'Azy has an outstanding chance. This is AD's handicap debut.

I'd be laying this fella. Don't think he'll like the ground at all.

Well done with Never Never SC. Good to see you've started a thread - your observations are interesting and often highlight things I miss such as trainer quotes.

Don't give up old boy but keep your day job in case

:lol::lol:

Kempton 8.25 HIGH TIME TOO 5pts e/way 11.5 @ 2.88
4 b f High Chaparral - Dane Thyme.
Won once from 11 starts last season winning nine furlong handicap at Wolverhampton off 69. Went to 75 then 77 and back to that mark after winning mile handicap at Kempton March 5 by half a length from Mr Red Clubs off 74.

Trainer says;
"I think she'll be competitive off this mark and her work has been very good. She'll go to Kempton on April 2 in a 0-80 mile handicap and if she wins that she might be notched up a few pounds and will try a seven furlong handicap at Lingfield on Good Friday worth £50,000."

Taunton 4.30 Applause For Amy 2pts e/way 30.0 @ 7.0 may drift?

Taking a wild small stakes punt here. I've found a couple of form lines from September 2012 that gives this lightly raced mare an e/way shout in this race. She ran well over 3m l/t/o and I think this drop in grade - drop back to 2m3f on good ground will suit her with the possibility she's a mare coming into form, makes her worth a punt at the prices.

Leics 2.20 Flyball 5/2 - 20pts win - racing manager was told by Hannons this horse is a machine - finished 3rd in Brocklesby and is the only horse with racecourse experience in todays race.

Aintree
3.25 Kian’s Delight / Sir Du Bearn 2pts e/way each 21.0 & 5.4 – 38.0 & 8.0
Trainer Peter Bowen rarely comes away from this meeting empty handed and has a good record in 3m h’caps here.

Chepstow
3.05 Katies Massini – 20/1 – 2pts e/way

4.50 Yazdi – 12/1 2pts e/way

Trainer Henry Oliver is 2/2 with h’cap hurdlers at Chepstow – both his runners have similar profiles to his two winners – one won at the course last month and the other at this meeting last year. It’s the manner in which they won that catches the eye winning by 10L & 8L

Katie's Massini ran a good race there SC. Jockey clearly stopped riding when it was clear he wouldn't be placed and there will another day for this one.

Market Rasen
5.30 Vinaigrette 3pts e/way 15.48 win – I haven’t done the place yet hoping to get 4.0 but probably wont now. Tissue price 8/1 – projected BSP 21.0 with A King, A Honeyball, M Jefferson having runners this could go off at generous odds and become a value bet – as long as people don’t steam in on betfair too early. Anything under 12/1 is not value imo.

Trained by Richard Phillips and owned by The Someday’s Here Racing Partnership

The owners / trainer combination have had the following horses;

What A Vintage (Dam of Vinaigrette) finished 2nd in her first race( bumper) for O Sherwood @ 20/1 before winning a bumper at 7/4 n/t/o, for connections above.

Good For Blue – His first race was a bumper finishing 3rd at 40/1

Bluegrass Bid – Had his first race in a bumper finishing 2nd at 9/2

Devils Provice – Had only two races both in bumpers both unplaced

Master Vintage (Full brother to Vinaigrette) first race in a bumper finished 3rd at 9/2

Just read Trainers blog
Vinaigrette is declared in the bumper at Market Rasen on Sunday and once again Danny is onboard. She has shown promise at home and has the size and shape of a chaser and will hopefully show us some promise on her debut
Off to Chepstow to watch all the action, where hopefully Master Vintage will run with credit in the closing bumper. Whilst looking forward to his full sister Vinaigrette making her debut at Market Rasen tomorrow
