Thought it may be useful to have one thread each day for our Cheltenham bets. So we can congratulate/ridicule afterwards :lol:

Ok, so i've backed these to varying degrees and have some AP positions as well but my main bet of the day is a treble on UDS, Faugheen and Annie Power. I've been burned too many times in the Supreme.....

My selections:

Un De Sceaux (I've backed Josses Hill e/w ante post and Three Kingdoms e/w ante post but id take the place for the latter now!! If UDS stands up he will win)

Shaneshill ew and L'ami Serge. Both with a concession. Free bet if no return on the former, free bet if Douvan wins on the latter.
Josses Hill ante post. Contemplating a big IR lay as I have him as the second part of a double from back in the summer. Free bet for a bag ideally.
Mendip Express - ew
Jezki - mainly ew

Clarcam each way w/out UDS, Mendip Express and Jezki all in a few ew doubles with other horses later in the week

On l'ami serge at fancy prices and the new one antepost but my main bet tomorrow is a Yankee of l'ami,un de sceaux,faugheen and Annie power.not original but hey ho..

The first two races are basically no losers for me. I have no antepost bets which is a first for me. Sick of losing money for nothing.

Jollyallan & Allisio Ville both with concession (free bet if they don't win) I may also back L'ami Serge with Betfair SB who are giving out lots of free bets for a 3/1+ winner
Backed Vilbrato Valtat with PP and UDS with Boylesports who are refunding if he loses. My worst result is neither winning obviously but I'll only be about £15 down.
Mendip Express and Pendra. Not sure if I'm going to just back one of them. Will wait until tomorrow.
Faugheen - will be my biggest bet of the day and he's also included in a few of my festival accys.
Tempted to take AP on with Polly Peachum. Might wuss out and go with the w/o AP market
Cause of Causes with a small bet on Return Spring
Love Killala Quay and Horizontal Speed in the last. Might have to have a sneaky few quid on Cold March as well.

Most of the above are involved in my e/w accy. If Faugheen gets beat my festival will already be in tatters!

Learned the hard way that assuming the Supreme is a forgone conclusion can be very costly.

I am still gobsmacked at the way Qewy quickened up at Newbury so I am sticking with him but also dutching Douvan and L'ami Serge. Either of he latter 2 win I am still making a small profit but quewy is my main bet.

Also backed Douvan, UDS and Faugheen in a treble.

Arkle: Backed Sail By The Sea at 260 for this when I found out there was a leg for sail as a def Arkle runner
Laid him back and put the profit on UDS.

UDS 185P with Timeform puts him ahead of Sprinter Sacre at this stage of his career.....bit over the top imo but still can't oppose him
as thre's no Cue Card in this field.

First leg of Slims now famous UDS Vautour 20/1 double

Un Du Sceux dangers none

The Pendra handicap.don't know the name of this race care even less.

Only bet in this is Ned Stark @6/4 to be in the first 5

Can't see anything bothering Faugheen or stopping the New One from finishing 2nd

See the Champion Hurdle as a 2 horse race.
Jezki to win by virtue of his gear change, and a forecast just in case Faugheen proves good enough.

Far too many small ew bets, but crossed out The Pirates Queen before Mike shot off to the bookies, which means she's bound to win.And put my free win only bet on Sego Success which means he'll come second [I rarely bet win only and, when I do they always come second].
