what have we got? :D

i thought quotes of 40/1 for Shishkin gold cup was a bit wild. if he goes and wins a king george he's a 3rd of that surely and you cant hold this week against him or any hendo horse. funny the exchange isn't even quoting Corbetts Cross who has to be a player.

i suspect Ballyburn will go Turners but so does market. 7/2 isn't brilliant but probably just ******* wins.

anyone punted anything at this very early stage?

I've had a small bet on Iroko for the Ryanair as 50/1 seemed excessive.

Interested in Waterford Whispers maybe for the BA but would need to re-watch the races next week for a better handle.

I don't bet ante post but i'll add my two pennorth

Ballyburn- Stayers
Romeo Coolio- 2 and half mile novice hurdle whatever it's called
Cuthbert Dibble- Brown Advisory
Inothewayurthinkin- Ultima
Quai De Bourbon- Turners
L'eau Du Sud- Arkle

And of course when Connie starts blowing everything away again Lossiemouth will run in the mares:D

Fact To File and Corbetts Cross look the obvious ones of the novices to maybe step up next season and challenge for the Gold Cup.
Gerri Collombe at 25s is too big for another crack.

Montys Star at 33s is interesting. With de Bromhead at the helm, could easily step forward next season.

If only we knew where the triumph winner is going to end up!

Sorry (Grassy) for infiltrating flat racing here. Ocean of Dreams is still 33s in spots for the Derby.

Is the Derby being held at Cheltenham in 2025? Why is this post here?

Free bet from Lads on a Majborough (Brown)/Firefox (Arkle) double @220/1

I thought I was being clever having a fiver on Iroko for the Ryanair at 50s and a few layers have him at 66/1.

The other horse that appeals is William Munny. Thinking Supreme @ 25s.

It's worth waiting with William Munney Nick. He's got A Dream To Share to come back too, and that horse is all speed, which may make William Munney his Gallagher's horse. It's bad enough playing Mullins bingo without playing it with Connell too.

Actually it's not. I killed too many brain cells last week, and I've just realised A Dream To Share is with John Kiely!

And it's JP's.

Surely these really smart bumper horses make up into stayers, been a very long time since Montelado landed the Festival Bumper and Supreme.

William Munney certainly looks top class though. (I'm well aware he didn't run in the festival bumper too).

So I've taken 25s for the Supreme and have him at 33s in a double with an NBA future that's fairly locked in. Both small money but worth maybe getting in on the ground floor

A few of my NRNB bets won, but none of them beat the SP. Had I waited till the day of the race I would have been better off.

I'll never get involved in NRNB again.

Apart from the fact it really messes up multiple bets you are better waiting till the day and you will get a run and better prices.

Captain Guinness was my only AP success, and of course that was a huge slice of luck.

Most annoying was Fact or File @ 33s for the wrong race, which he would have undoubtedly have also won.

Have a significant bet on Corrach to finish Top 4 in Gold Cup and Top 4 in National @ 10/1, which looks good. Will probably lay most of it off though.

In years gone by I'd be checking oddschecker every so often to get an early opinion on various races. I don't think I will be doing that a lot next time.

Unless something really catches my eye I am waiting to nearer race time.

I think this will suit me better than searching for value that isn't there.
