After what turned out to be a brilliant day yesterday the financial pressure is off and I just want to enjoy what should be a great race.
I never doubted Nicky Henderson for one minute. He has the patience of a saint and has done a great job getting the horse here.
The fact that Barry Geraghty is very bullish about his chances (Won't be beat he reckons) Nico says he's back to where he was and NJH is confident but being as cautious with is words as ever
has fallen on deaf ears and SDG is now favourite.
All this rubbish about him being able to run 20lbs below his best and still win is complete nonsense. It may work that way on a Friday afternoon round Doncaster but it certainly doesn't work that way in a QMCC.
One of 2 things will happen imo he will destroy them or bomb out completely.
I think he'll prove every one of his doubters wrong and win easily.
