Metcheck's graphics for today, tomorrow and Wednesday. Nothing today, 2mm tomorrow (and not 100% guaranteed) and nothing on Wednesday. That's just one forecaster. I accept others will vary. My phone weather app says an 80% chance of rain at some point tomorrow (nothing today) and nothing for Wednesday on.

No doubt somebody somewhere will be right and we'll get the usual 'Told ye' boasts but I'm just trying to point out that the forecast isn't set in stone.
 
I was listening to WH racing radio last night, they were broadcasting from Cheltenham...They were very downcast about the deluge...Only trying to keep people informed..
 
funny how forecasts differ. that metcheck image DO has posted varies pretty different from met office and bbc which has heavy rain from 6am through to 1pm which may push the going to heavy if true. accuweather claims on and off rain/drizzle all morning with 4.5mm landing.

Today at home here was a most beautiful morning.
Rain warning from 3pm , you would wonder where it could come from but come it did; horrible for last few hours.
Sorry this morning I was not Festival bound; glad I'm not now .
I do hope rain does not affect play.

Plenty of tools out there to form your own oppinions and not rely on the people in charge, whom themselves, sometimes, have ulterior motives to be guarded in what they say, for fear they could cause withdrawals...

Soft with heavy in places........trust me Soft my ass they 80% of the time they lie to try and keep withdrawals to a minimum when the ground is heavy and that will come to light after the first
