GoingStick Old 6.3 Cross country 6.8 New 6.5

Weather:
Mostly dry outlook in to next week but with a little light rain on Sunday.

How did old course go from 6.7 Thursday to 6.3 today with no rain? Same on new, 6.5 from 6.8 and an ease in cross country course.

Have they watered?

I bet he's itching to reach for the watering can. Rain tonight looks more unlikely than previously thought and Monday's forecast could take a lot of the moisture out of the ground.

Update from course this morning

GOING UPDATE: Good to soft. We had 1mm overnight, dry outlook through the week.

Latest report. Going to ride on slow side. Stick reading back to 6.0 from 6.3.

Simon Claisse just on Sky Sports news there advising he has changed the official going today on Hurdles/chase course to 'Good, Good to soft in places'. Clearly expecting it to ride a little quicker today.

What is the latest on the going? Any more water added manually? Any rain overnight or early this morning at the track?
I'm conscious that there was a lot of Jockey's saying it was riding a little dead yesterday and times were slow - even though Claisse said it was good, good/soft in places.

Claisse has called the ground Good all-round. There was a very brief, light, drizzle last night, that won't have made a jot of a difference to the Going, and I don't believe they watered again.

Bright and breezy this morning.
