Cheltenham Memories

I have to include Supreme Novice Hurdle the year Champagne Fever beat My Tent Or Yours and Jezki.
Rarely has a horse wanted to win more than their jockey; hardly ever a horse more than Ruby bar this fellow.
I remember meeting Art after the race and saying that that was the race of the week regardless of what happened, and I had backed Jezki .
 
Dashel Drasher has been reinstated into second place for the Stayers....and rightly so! Spoke to several stewards on point to point courses, several of whom steward on Rules courses and they all agree it should not have happened and had it been a bigger trainer or owner, there would never have been a demotion. That and the fact that it was Davy Russell up against Rex Dingle in the Enquiry.

I watched the finish again and it seems clear Davy Russell didn’t take the opportunity he had to correct Teahupoo as soon as he could have done. His actions certainly exaggerated any interference and justice has been done in the end. Absolute travesty DD was demoted on the day

There’s a fine article by An Capall in today’s Post, about Dysart Dynamo and his fall at Cheltenham. It’s one that you’d like Racing sceptics to see. I have a photo of it and will copy it here if someone can tell me how to do it.
 
Given FV win yesterday I am upgrading my memory of Marine Nationale from 'serious tool' to "absolute weapon. '
