Anything which further dilutes the 'narrative' of the NH year would be a great shame imo. Certain races belong on certain tracks, and their history and significance is already eroded enough by their being named after bookies which makes it hard to follow for the likes of us let alone newcomers
Regarding Kempton, I'm not in a position to explain exactly where my comments are coming from due to considerations of confidentiality, but obviously they stem from things I've had explained at fairly top level. If I say there are financial and political matters driving the value of the a/w courses behind the scenes, maybe a few people might be prepared to take that on trust. It makes perfect sense if you know a few of the stories behind the scenes. The next few years will be very interesting.
