Cheltenham - Tuesday - What are you backing?

No. Independent fall, just hit the fence very hard. Pocket talking re Johnson. Chapman hinting displeasure at Johnson too, mind.

Yeah I caught that, ‘asked for a massive jump’

Johnson off No Comment in the next race. Aiden Coleman on. Not sure Slim will be happy about that

Have Kildisart at 33s in the Ultima but fear the ground has gone against him

That was a pleasant surprise. A shame Cepage rolled off the rail and let The Conditional up his inner

I have considered Jarveys Plate in the Novice Chase.

There does seem to be some money about for the horse.

He ran poorly the last few times but I simply don't think that was his best form.

His novice chase win in October showed he had talent.

They put the blinkers on today and have given him two months off the track.

Maybe he will out run those odds of 25/1.

Roksana @ 6/1 e/w 3 places without Benie is one of the best (thieving) bets I’ve seen. After Honeysuckle and Stormy the rest are poor.

11/10 to beat Stormy Ireland who might well be sacrificed up front to get ho Honeysuckle lit up.

good day 1, wish i'd gone for it with honeysuckle though or at least done her e/w. cracking ride from blackmore.
The prices were barmy - Honeysuckle was very close to Benie on form and was too quick for her off the bend. I suspect she would have given Epatante one hell of a race .

yeah i'd say there's very little between honeysuckle and benie. surprised stormy ireland wasn't just flat out used as a hare to make it a test and mullins seems to have suggested post race that was the plan so it's a bit baffling.

as for the champion hurdle, i dont think she jumps well enough to have worried epitante, and i had a 40/1 docket on her antepost! may well have been placed though.

I like Townend. Hope he gets a few winners.

Have a feeling he won’t have that top job for long though. Ruby’s pissed off, you can tell.

In a way I'm glad LDM didn't win the last. I had it in an acc with Imperial Aura, Shishkin and BUAS and would have been sick if the last named had beaten me for it.

I don't need to go down the street looking for cats to kick.

Ravenhills pulled me out the **** today a little bit. Lost a fair amount on Notebook, mainly in multiples. That’ll do on to tomorrow.

Cheers Slim

Robbie Power won’t be riding for Mullins again. Jockey error according to him allowing Honeysuckle down the inside

LDM would have been my only winner today with several placed horses. Sick that Benie defeat means a few multiples have gone by the wayside

Picked Ravenhill in the Telegraph Compton but didn’t back him

I think I just might kick the cat [emoji20]

My cat well and truly kicked! (Well if I had one). Friend who was coming tomorrow with me now isn’t and didn’t tell me until lunchtime. Totally took the gloss of the racing today and I sat there looking at Put the Kettle On and was too peed off with everything to back it. Had 2 2nds and 2 3rds ew. Not good enough!
