Far from being " overly sensitive " all Col is doing is being responsible and protecting both his individual position and also the site from being taken down.

Someone needs to explain then how football fans forums and some of the sites i`ve posted links to like Ruthless Reviews, Buffalobeast and The Onion get away with some of the content they have. The Internet is crawling with libel, i`m just curious as to why this place is so sensitive about it.

Dedicated hosting / offshore ISP / anonymous owners / laywers. Any number of things or a combination of them all that makes it hard for them to be shut down.
This place is run by a named person and I suspect is a service that that the host/ISP would not find too difficult to turn off.
Nobody is asking the world, just post responsibily.
