Cracked Laptop Screen

Aaaarg! Opened my laptop (acer - 2 years old) to find a crack in corner of screen.

Any ideas about wether screens are repairable/replaceable and is it worth it?

Don't know if its worth spending £200-£300 or getting a new laptop.

Thing about laptops is once you open them up and start poking around inside them they're more likley to have other problems. It's only 2 years old though so it's not an easy decision.

Id advise a new purchase personally. Screens are very tetchy things. solving one problem may indeed unearth another. If you could source a repair job for under a hundred i would chance it otherwise not

Get the screen fixed, sell it on ebay, and buy another.
