Daily picks.

Volcanic dust was a big drifter at wolves ran to free over the 6fs and reverts back to the distance it's won over 3/12 attempts. The penultimate run was hampered and finished 1 1/2ls behind diamond charlie also in tomorrows race,a race it shouldv'e won yet is two pounds better in.Earlsmedic ran a similar race in that it wasted lots of distance running wide and ran roughly two lengths quicker than volcanic dust on the same card.Earlsmedic looks more reliable but at 3/1 as opposed to volcanic dusts 14/1,but the price difference is massive and there should be at least a decent trade out of it.Really should be around the same price as diamond chartlie in this race,if ignoring the wolves run.

Nothings run faster than perfect chi over the c/d including shorter priced horses such as fedora 5/1,perfect chi would probably be worth a bet if it weren't for the lay off of 210 days. There are one or two starting off their handicap debuts but none of them look likely to be massive improvers, with luke morris riding perfect chi i can easily see this being backed with such little form in the race.

Looks like you've nicked the price on Volcanic Dust gigalo, generally 9/2-5/1 now, are you just ignoring its last run? How would you trade on these prices to make it worth while?

Heading To First followed the usual pattern of being backed in the early markets.

The training/jockey combo is rancid, but this is a race they could actually win, judged on both rides from Harley, especially the race over 8f.

My guess is it's traders trying to manipulate a bit of free money, but it will be interesting to see if RLB goes 8 lths clear or just a couple from the start.

I backed it about 7/8 times stewart at all those different prices,i've got some decent amounts on because of the varying prices so i've got ew bets as well.
On this occasion it was worth trading and backing ew and still being able to make a reasonable profit, even if unplaced.

OK, Andy good luck, just brasses me off when i've traded one back and it bolts up, feel as if you're giving away any value that you've got, but if you have backed it stand alone bet ew as well makes more sense to me.

You can back them ew as well when they're shortening up that much.

I've backed veroon at 10/1 was expecting it to be more like 11/2.,price has gone now 6/1 lads.

Out at 7.0;)

As mentioned above backed veroon at 10s think 13/2 biggest price now again i've had 1pt trade 0.05ptew,looks a four horse race on paper.Has two runs over the c/d first off 79 and second off 82 tomorrow off 80,has one of the quicker runs over the c/d and price was miles out.I'm not saying back it now as prices have been missed but i only managed to get two prices this evening after having 8/9 marked off.
Ive also backed lowtherwood a speculative pick at 9/2 now 7/2 it could be a massive gamble tomorrow if the surface brings improvement, related to impressible, reverence helm bank and the dam imperial bailiwick.Smarts had two winners this week and running off a mark of just 58 if its well backed will trade out for a free bet.It didn't finish far behind laffan won off 69 at swell last week and rising rated 73 but the race at redcar was slow,an interesting runner anyway.

Had a small bet rassam at 2/1 4.25 meydan, impossible to weigh up form but clocked up 1m25.02 by 7ls at kempton on debut, looked like it wanted slightly slower surface to me which this may suit looking at leg action.

Shared moment although at the optimum of its mark has a very good rrecord over c/d 2/2/1/1/2/3/2 never been unplaced half tomorrows field have very little form over the trip and on the aw and the ones that do look weak.Very difficult to make a case for most of the runners so even though this is supposedly a step up in class i wouldn't make this any bigger than 5/1,hopefully a bet to nothing.
