Grandad chunk was a bit of an eyecatcher last time out for colin Teague,drawn 9 dropped out the back over tomorrows c/d giving the field 8ls start was probably even further behind entering last 2 furlongs,then to come wide under hand's n heels to be beate just over 6ls.That day he finished just over 2 3/4ls behind tomorrows fav kyllach me with natural improvement after just the 5 runs and a 4 month break there should be little between them,although still get the impression this won't be trying to hard if doesn't break well and off just a mark of 52 could get dropped into a race where would look huge at likely same prices.It's an interesting runner to follow till ed of the season,trainer doesn't have any winners but at least guarantees massive prices top have a go at..

cwrtainly wasn't ridden to win the race and looks well handicapped just hope it's at least a month before it runs again...

Can't see much value tomorrow so won't be getting rich will have some small interests in the multiples.

2.30 Musselburugh

Kilbaha lady was disappointing over this c/d when 4th of 7 behind tomorrows favourite mulwith,previous to that run had been second at thirsk to Alicante on much faster ground and that was a better race also 3rd in a slightly better race last time out as well.If it was the ground which made the difference then could finish a lot closer to the fav,the ground was on the soft side when she ran that poor 4th not much in price especially if rains or overwatered,think a little water maybe put on tonight but looks good for place if ground stays the same as today.

Got 1.9 a place can't complain with that for 7 runners unlucky to bump into one..

Ginger jack probably needs the ground not to be to quick although handles it,decent run last time out when stopped in run on several occasions and did well to run on to get 4th
I've backed him numerous times before as has loads of abuility,this season has sudeenly become more consistent winning 2 out of last 4 runs.After that run he's probably worth a small bet as did look unlucky at ripon although there are a couple of unexposed ones from Johnston and fahey stable,it does seem to find trouble going this way round hopefully plenty of pace on and will at least hit the frame..

A couple of runners in this race were 3rd and 4th in a York nursery that's working out well,champion warrior and equity both getting in this handicaop off 63 that nusery at York has alreadt thrown up looting won by 5ls was 2nd in the nursery and the 5th drop kick murphy yesterday won at brighton off 71.The have to prove themselbves on the aw but in the context of this race the form looks ok..
Probably have to chuck in the hughes horse for fiorecasts off a nothing mark of 61 and now favourite..

Arlechinno's leap is exposed but nearly always runs its race hasn't been out of the first 4 in last 8 runs on the aw and in this grade was 4th over c/d off 78 to justice first that's as good as he is but has frame chances and should be roundabout in what is quite a competitive race but nothing really done much on the clock..
Rocket power hasn't doner a lot on the clock but still the 5 lifetime runs so far so might be worth giving a chance was stopped in run behind rich again last time out,over 6fs don't think he would've won anyway but another with decent place chances stepped back up to 7fs..

Ayr gold cup

This years race looks highly competitive quite a strange race as nearly everything around the first fifteen heading the betting have been in great form and will be running off their highest ever marks if the grounds quickish on the day just looks impossible far too many runners with virtually same form all recently produced on decent ground.The race only becomes interesting if the ground does come up testing or soft,most of those 15 in the market have prodiced those recent ratings on fast ground and would be hard to bet bar one or two out of the fifteen that would be guaranteed to run to present marks on softer ground.
If the ground does ride on soft side,then Jack dexter may come into his own 7yr old now but still showing signs he retains ability and coming down in the weights,last couple of seasons ground hasn't come right for him in this race and jim goldie just keeps his campaign light to try and win the race.He's already run two decent races at ascot this season, when 9th of 28 drawn on the farside at ascot when advantage was in middle got stopped in run and probably cost him a length or two off 102,has also been 4th of 18 over 5fs at ascot on gd/fm ground which just shows he is in very good form.
His last run was over 7fs on gd/fm so easy to put a line through that.To give him a realistic chance of winning he is ground dependant,but if it does come up on the easy side, there are lots of doubts surrounding most of the runners off current marks he's actually one of the few runners with a falling mark that likes soft ground.Obviously the bet could be ruined a few days before the race has even run if no cut in the ground,but he would be very unlucky if the ground were to come up fast 90% of the meetings at ayr have been desperate this season.Bit disappointed that the books are only going 25s doesn't look as though any will go 33s now but if the rains come and the ground gets as desperate as this seasons meetings have been would be ideall

4.30 Bath

For a very small interest mister musicmaster might be worth a token bet,has dropped a lot in the weights lowest mark since winning by 3ls off 74 may 2015 off 75 tomorrow, hasn't shown a great deal this season but there is probably a win in the the horse at some point.This season only two bits of worthwhile form a 4th of 7 to gratzie off 81 on tomorrows ground over c/d had hot mustard 8/1 a length behind and that was for horses rated upto 90 and a 5th to corporal Maddox at Chepstow over inadequate 7fs which in context of this race looks reasonable run.The main postives are he loves this lightening ground and has always run well at bath,i'd be surprised if not some sort of mini gamble could be nice little trade, it's an impossible looking race which is relatively weak but he is a big price if juist running to those runs over c/d and chepstow,he might just sneak a race somewhere before the emd of the season.Luke morris also rides last time he rode this horse was may 2015 when 4th and 1st and that last win off 74..

Very dubious ride by morris was either non trier or totally misjudged the pace,natural horse to go wuith pace the leader goes 10ls clear and comes second he drops mister music master back through field never seen luke morris that inanminate and then under hand's n heels comes 4th very strange ride for someone who rides the ears off them,hit it once with the whip..

5.10 Sailsbury

Will have a token bet on Indrapura has totally unreliable profile finishes nesrer ladt than first on last few runs,have looked through all the runners and although indrapura finished 7ls behind knight of air tomorrows favourite not totally convinced knight of air is a fast ground horse,although the form says gd/fm most of ots form has come on ground much softer than results have shown when looking at finishing times.Indrapuras poorer runs have been on results with gsd/fm ground but have actually been on far slower ground than results and the one time he did run well was 3rd at leicester to Blacklister rated 83 and Tomahawk kid 2nd to exoteric next time out,with cosmic storm over 3ls behind in 4th won next time out.There's very little genuine fast ground form from most of the runners in the race and although he does look unreliable has decent draw and jock,if he repeats the Leicester run then would no reason why he shouldn't run well.hopefully ground won't be overwatered..

Have a few bets at Newcastle as the turf looks too competiotve and the going reports especially haydock was fast today can't see much in prices,don't normally bet at Newcastle so only small stakes ew multiples..

Quite a few class droppers in this race so looks pretty open,intense starlets run two decent races back to back last one was over this c/d in two grades higher race ,slightly off putting as had very hard races but at lesst on track form looks the one to beat if repeats last time out run.Two others the 6yr old sakhee's rose has run well last two runs has never run in this grade before and graham lee rides looks like the horse is just coming into form and the one i put up from catterick grandad chuks when bit of an eyecatcher on the two catterick runs.Sire hasn't had a winner at newcastle from 11 runs but as i mentioned he looks well handicapped and will still be following closely,might be worth having two small bets on intense starlet and grandad chinks and maybe some tiny forecasts .wuith sakhees rose.The 20/1 about granddad chunks looks massive potentially expect this to be heavily backed if trying..

Miramonte dancer has been disappointing and gets dropped into a terrible race running off 60 and with callum shepherd claiming another 5 pound,has only had 8 runs early season 3rd to quick n quirky over 7fs decent form and even though the 5th to mercury at beverley only looks ok in this poor race the 5 pound claim and first time visor are positves.Also sire fast company 14% on tapeta with 2 winners from 6 runners atnewcastle,betting will interesting you would expect this to be heavily backed if expected to run to the musselburugh form..
