Summer icon 11/2 hills 4/1 hills/betway/victor

Summer icon was 2nd over c/d end of November after 6 month break,race was run in a decent time and had rebel surge and Russian radiance behind,will probably go off fav or jf around 3/1 a lot of these are lightly raced on the aw but she's open to improvement still as well with justb the two runs.Any improvement on the November run then she should hit the frame at least,thought Russian radiance might run better as was in summer icons race ran wide throughout and then switched insde beraten 5ls,i wouldn't be surprised if got closer this time.

Miss tiger lily 6/1 365/skybet/racebets/sportsbook/sportingbet

Aurira gray won so easily last time out most likeliest winner reflected in prives,miss tiger lily she's an exposed 8yr old but she seems quite genuine 9 runs on the aw 2 wins 4 places she looked like stamina was her main forte last time out hopefully will be off infront and hit the frame..

Sweet got evens a p;ace and a little reverse forecast,he should've pushed on and made more of a stamina test nice forecast though..£9.50 and £9.80

These two ran on the same day,virtually same times although big amigo won easily,presume will be shortish price abd treaty of rome only third run back in a couple of seasons may improve again,they have obvious frame chances at least and have beaten a lot of the runners in the race froml;ast weeks run.

Macho mac /Among angels

Macho mac looks horrible ride far to keen last time out,his previous run had wion by 6ls and looked big improver and on same card ran faster than custasrd the cat that runner won the handicap they contested on same day when macho mac was to keen.This race is a drop back in trip for macho mac,i presume they are just going to let him go forward this time and with headgear on,looks risky after last run but probabl;y worth another chance.
And among angels was 5th in that 7f race also drops in trip doesn't look the most reliable but on a decent mark now and drop in class frame chances,has run ok here last seasdon off 83 when 5th tomorrow off 76..

They arte the swell cards on Tuesday,don't think summer icon will go off shorter than 3/1 11/4 tops.I was looking at binky lue as well but the last few runners I've backed from that stable with this jock have drifted like a barge and drawn 9 tomorrow,is chuicked in and decent price 10/1 but hard to have much confidence,just impossible to know if stable are trying..

Don't know why I never did forecast double,gutted although the second race was obviously more speculative what a start to the week though only paid 27.50!!!!Hope someonme did the forecast double,think I know someone who might've...

I didn't do the f/c double but had the f/c at 18.0 in the 2.50 either way round - plus the win on Summer Icon and win / place on Miss Tiger Lilly. Thank you.

Had a feeling you did it nick very nice,it's amazing how real fast time lasttime got underestimated in that 2.50 and the other two just looked slow on the clock and were slowboats and works out as it should've glad someone at least did them and the double a right bonus,luke morris should've made more use of the second in the 2.15 may have run that fav close..
 
Going to have a few very very speculative picks,probably to around 1/6th of normal stakes but horses I have to have some coppers on...

5.10 Wolves

Another very poor race even for this grade,so another speculative one in gossiping,made its debut in april 2015 in newmarket maiden behind some now useful horses for charlie appleby then won its maiden at windsor given a very high mark of 83 for that win and shown nothing since.
Gary moore now trains been with him for three runs,didn't run to badly in november when 8th of 12 at wolves over tomorrows c/d off slow pace sitting at the back to be running on quite well,just the three runs for gary moore has enabled him to drop 11 pound and get into this poor race with hector crouch taking off another 3 pound.Hard to know how much ability he retains but is a weak race,betting will be interesting and last time out was strangely run over 7fs dropped out ran wide throughout by shane kelly and given a 4 pound drop for what was percieved as another desperate run,he's worth another small bet if he's ever going to show something will be in a race like this..Scribner creek impressed me penultimate run,winning in a decent time then flopping over further,anything like thast run would have to be about in this poor race..

Gossiping 14/1 ppower/sportsbook

Showboating hasn't shown much this season and is 9yr old has a lot to finf with mithqaal and captain revelation from previous 7f form,tomorrow gets to run over the mile at swell last time he ran over c/d was 3rd off 890 tomorrow runs off just 82 with lewis edmunds taking opff another 7 pound.He's worth a very speculative bet over anextra furlong and big pull in weights with the 7f previous form,think the small field and l;ack of pace maybe agaibst him but time to start having a few token bets on him at prices.Realistically this race probably won suit but can't let him go off 25s and 20s off this markk

Ardamir a 120 hurdler for alan king won got what looked a high rating on turf for what didn't look strong form,then ran in a handicap at wolves behind naturalscenery giving that winner 7 pound for 3 1/4ls beating,hasn't really worked out that race and last time out the horse sat off slow pace given a poor ride was never given a chance.The form from wolves doesn't appear as good as it did on the day,but the time was pretty good so maybe worth giving it another chance,with kirby riding.
Giantstepsahead might be worth cionsidering as well,doesn't look particularly well handicappe but does have some consistent form although beaten easily last time out this race doesn't look that strong for grade and could run ok at a price..

All 3 of these have been well backed already and are much shorter than the advised prices.

To be fair lads these overnight markets are in for buttons. Gossiping was suspended on the PP site very quickly. At 14/1 it takes €350 in stakes for that to suspend. They went 9/1 after that. Very few will get on at the 14/1 so you have to be willing to take the next price down. In my opinion and experience the most powerful Gigilo selections are the shorter priced ones because the books make less significant cuts (e.g 5/4 from 6/4 rather than 9/1 from 14/1). When those 5/4 shots are going off around 1/2 you can get a lot on overnight and in the morning at around EVS. There is no liquidity in overnight markets so getting on is always difficult.

At the risk of sounding selfish and looking for jam on it....would it be better post the previews / bets in the morning when markets are stronger....You do an excellent job Giggilo..just saying.

You make a good point SlimChance and I'm in full agreement about the shorter priced selections being stronger more often than not.

Problem I've got is that I'm up for work for about the same time Placebacker's daily picks come through. I hate backing the night before for the very reasons you state but I just don't have the time mid morning to start getting bets on.

I love doing multiples on Placebackers stuff when I can get on. With the SP+ with 365 before they got rid of it, they were seriously powerful bets.

It must have cost them a hundred million on multiples. Getting movers in multiples with SP+ make them completely unprofitable for bookmakers.
 
The shorter priced ones don't come round often enough,beginning of this month I've had 4 or 5 one that was exceptional the Johnston horse but those sort of bets are very rare you may see something like that once every month or two and they are nearly always in maidens based on times so the books always make mistakes as that example of the lingfield race has shown.I don't see 5/2 shots everyday that I think are even money shots,far harder to find value at front end of the market in general all the value is away from the front of the market betting on a daily basis,trouble is I know the very tiny % who will pick the same horses as me and they will ruin the prices regardless of wether I wait till morning or not.
Similar to me they are just putting on multiples,because they can't get any decent singles on or ew doubles etc,etc there are so many negatives now regarding getting prices,far too much racing so makes the racing a lot less competitive than it should i'm amazed that anyone wins,because I know if I was just starting out now from scratch I think I wouldn't bother.I very rarely even do the placepots anymore and they used to win me fortunes through the year,the turf meetings are impossible as all the going reports are wrong and as said the aw meetings the divis are so poor now because of too much racing,there's very little left for punters now..
