Daily picks.

Can't use it chef to do the form it's just so long winded, there was a facility on the racing post when you clicked on a horse would give you its seperate wins tab,on what going and marks with the tracks it won on which was the only way I could realistically do the form the most important information needed wthin seconds, now you have to scroll through every run to pick out that information yourself it's just ridiculous. For me I need to be spending 10-15 seconds on most horses it takes me that long just to get to a runner and its form, its an impossibility for me to do anything that I want now without that old racing post format i'm knackered so the flat season is finished for me.The sites are deliberately set up like this to be made unusable especially for someone who wants quick access,i can't even do an all weather card its just too long winded, until a site comes up with same simplistic formate for s[peed then I won't be doing any more form there are so many things I need to do at speed the sites won't allow me..Not as thoug it's just the speed its the whole way the sites are set up font size, the colouring its all so duisytracting there isn't one thing I can use with speed and for someone that wants to do an aw card for example in 1/2hour which I can do sometimes would now take me 2 hours like going back 20 years ago which i'm not willing to do..Lets hope there are some better site set ups by next season, because I've put a line through this one already.....don;'t think I will even be doing the aw 3 cards tomorrow they would take me all night the way its set up plus with my health not spending hours on something I could previously have done in minutes, very very frustratuing...

What about some of the subscription services, like Raceform Interactive? The cost surely insignificant for a pro to have all the relevant info at his fingertips. No idea if it's any good but heard a number of people say they use it with success.

Not bothered about subscriptions as long as I can get things done within minutes as previously, all these sites have gone the same way atr is exactly the same anyone who wants to work fast and efficiently there's no wayu they're going to use these sites, who wants to look through every single run of every single horse in every race when they have no chance but because the wins facility, with the ttracks and marks and goings its won isn't on same tab to save at times even looking at a lot of individual horses. Will have a look at the one you've mentioned but get the feeling will be same set up,these sites are deliberately set up to cvause confusion and take 10x longer makes absolutely no sense.

Gig
on the racing post website, if you cllick on 'Pos.finish distance winner or runnner up wgt'. Then irt brings all the horses wins to the top of that page for you. No more messing about

Cheers billy, still find the site impossible to use been trying all afternoon just doing my head in to be honest so many distractions with all the clicking and weird grey colouring not keeping track of the draw and other stuff just end up not doing the form thoroughly,i'd gladly pay double for the old site back..

Taajub 12/1 365

Cut 9s already still worth a small bet although jockey bookings with queally on taajub and Kelly riding picansort make things confusing, taajub used to be different class to these but obviously on downgrade won off 80 over c/d this time last year and now runs in this grade for the first time in lifetime runs.Ran respectable race on seasonal aw debut just behinf tomorrows fav mossgo and eased when running 5th behind verne castle in race fior horses rated upto 85 just 70 tomorrow.Betting will be intersdting compared to stablemate and if expected to improve on debut run and run anywhere near last seasons aw form, could potentially be a big gamble..

Hello Gigilo

I'd just like to say this thread is the "go to" one on the internet, streets ahead of anything I've seen to be honest, the jewel of the forum easily.

I have an angle on Taajub, which obviously won't affect your trade, the angle is that Taajub runs better with a more previous last time run than tomorrow. His form when turned out after 50 days or more is 0 wins from 15 runs. Within those 15 races his best position has been 4th.

Please don't think this a criticism, its not meant that way, it might be one to trade, rather than let run, is all I am pointing out.

Thanks for all your efforts on here, top banana.

I can't seem to edit the post, sorry it should read 13 runs, not 15.

Can't even see 13 breaks over fifty most of them were a lot longer so hardly relevant 12months,7months,4months,5months,4months,4months,4months and 4months one of 57 and another was 4th in a 20 runner race at ascot,so doesn't look relevant those hbreaks are over 120days some a lot longer ,the horse has only won 1 out of its last 35 runs..

Doncha maybe worth a small bet can't see to many outstanding in this years race, last time oput hadn't run for 2 months and although was behind firmament that race was over 7fs at ascot looked beat 3furlongs on but still was staying on at finish so respectable comeback run.Last year was a big eyecatcher in this race obviously loves this c/d mile mile not getting a clear run from the near side group where there was less pace motoring at finish the mile here looks perfect trip so stamina amnd ground issues seem ideal, strictly on that form has 3 1/2ls to find with gm Hopkins but would've been close between then with clear run.The rest of donnchas form hasn't compared really bar the last time run here over the inadequate 7fs,looks a tiny bit of value on last years run even though on strict formlines has a little to find with a couple,16s at the moment seems fair anything bigger would be too far to big..
If the draw does favour lows certainly wouldn't surprise me if master of the world ran ok always races with the pace 3rd in racelast year and although appears badly handicapped
looking through the field doesn't appear to be loads of pace on so could surprise and hit the frame.

The Lincoln

I do like morando as was an eyecatcher in the above race and looked under pressure but was picking up again looked open to loads of improvement but is 7/1,plus I put yuften up for the aw finals at 14/1 is even shorter to win the Lincoln at 12s but fit and still well handicapped on old form.I completely forgot about this race last year when donncha looked to be coming through to maybe win the race, ran ok on comeback run last season when 2nd at Donny in the spring mile,5th in a listed handicap at York,3rd to franklin d at goodwood, ran well behind librisa breeze over inadequate 7fs at ascot then the run behind yuften plus a respectable 4th in a listed race behind estidkhaar.Doesn't look as though as a specific ground preference ran well at Donny in the spring mile after exactly same break as this coming season, also hasn't been over raced and last season showed its most improvement.Morando looks the obvious improverbut no reason why donncha couldn't run well,i havn't really looked at the race I just remember the above race being very unlucky. If anyone can find a link I can wath the above race that actually works would be handu as I can't,i just remember it from memory and also mirando being an eyecatcher as well...

Many thanks Gigilo, I've junked my original opinion based on your knowledge and have backed this one to the sum of £1200 to win a large pot, Thanks for your advice.

****, my statistics were right, the horse is undercooked when running after a break, I've lost 2 months money today, heartbroken.

I don't understand, you haven't logged in because its lost, and yet you log in and BOOOOOOM when they win, I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in you Gigilo not coming on after a loss.

I backed donncha back when you first notified him at 20-1 on betfair sportsbook and today the bet has mysteriously vanished and of course his price is 8-1. Has this ever happened to anybody before?

ok guys, lets cut the off topic posts out now please, I'll be deleting the off topic posts when I get a sec, lets draw a line under it now and leave it at that.

As with all good ante post bets you get done by the draw, the highs came up last year but that was on heavy desperate ground will need field to veer over if donnchas going to figure from the standside draw...

Think with my health problems and the combination of unusable sites will be unable to do the turf this season, although I will be doing the 2yr olds and following closely for ante post bets etc,may delve into older horse sprints 5/6fs but won't be abler to do anymore than that and whatever aw meetings are on,going to be a quiet season...
