A 3yr old handicap for horses rated upto 80,most of these runners ran on the same card last time out the fav William Twee won the maidem and Dandy Dinmont,Lady Raeburn and Raydoun were 1,2,3 in the handicap,the maiden William Twee won was over 2 seconds quicker and hacked up although the handicap was run a false pace..Best comparison wss to look earier when Recall The Show won off 78 in the older horses sprint,that night William Twee ran 3/4 quicker hacked up and carried 4 pound more than that winner that made all..if the times are to be believed William Twee running off just 78 looks very well handicapped,looked far better than it's win that night..I suspect it will go off 2/5 maybe even shorter,if it imprives or just runs the same race then the betting should reflect that pruce,the one negative i could see is if they went slow as it did clock up that fast time with guaranteed pace,but if you look at the three that ran in the handicap at Donny there's a possibility it could become a slowly run race..Can't really allow for that and as it looks like going off very short there should be eaay money to be won trading anyway..Think this horse could be half decent and heading for some decent handicaps..

Veteran now and a bit of a straight track specialist last season was 3/1/4 over c/d winning off 57 in a 0-65,not shown much in two races this season although was beaten miles last time out on softer ground didn't run to badly on seasonal debut in a beaten 6 1/2ls over this c/d but in a 0-65 did win a 0-60 in September on gd/fm at Leicester had Priscillas Wish over 4 1/2ls behind that day that ones JF tomorrow..Kaiya Frasers had 3/13 rides and 6 places takes off 7 and gets the horse down to 49 lowest mark since winning in July 2020 has an ew chance if anywhere near its best..Obvious ones in form are Priscillas Wish and other JF Wrath Of Hector.

A couple of token interests,race looks wide open,although the more obvious improvers like Brazen Bolt and Eetee could improve past these and Eetee has already eaten Gabrial The Wire at Chester easily..by over 5ls although Gabrial The Wire was hampered still very doubtfuk wouldv'e beaten Eetee and the jock on Eetee was hopeless but as mentioned a stinking ride on Gabrial as well running wide..It maybe worth a small saver on that one,Gabrial The Wire also got a stinking ride in that race as well although some of it is self inflicted with slow starts but again poor draws,did exactly the same in penultimate run at Chester as well when 5th in a 0-80 looks a little unreliable to have much confidence but maybe this more galloping track will suit..Last run here last season won off 87,now runs off 78 just worth a small bet..
Ebury is similar only ever won 1/22 yet has run lots of decent races but lots of poorer races in recent times was rated 91 may 2021 when made its seasonal reapperence here coming 3rd,and was even touched off here by La Trinidad but after that completely regressed,inexplicable and hard to see why..This season started off on just a mark of 70 ran ok 4th in a Donny 0-80 then here got stopped in run 5th in a 0-90 over this 7fs,was then dropped in class into a weaker race went off fav and well beaten..probably will pop up somewhere off this mark but can't give it to many chances,so just a small bet..in this 0-80 only runs off 65 and another 3 pound claimer as well..

Have put up Grandstand a couople of times,a right hound but occasionally runs well and niw owes me nothing as got me up the tricast here recentky when 3rd,the first and second favs could be chucked in here Chitra and Sydney Blues horses that maybe coming back to form if they go on the ground..Grandstand just looks a good trade to me,has plenty of form here in very poor races similar to this am hoping it goes pff below double figures and maybe make a few quid trading and maybe out run its prices..It probably won't but they are hounds especially if the top two in the market or at least one of them bombs.Am hoping this gets backed down to about 8/1 in this..

Beautiful trade laid off 1/2 a barrow at 8s and got my ew bets up and ew doubles,worked out perfectly..think gandstand wouldv'e run better than that of they hadn't overwatered,ground looks very slow and on the clock..thought jock was going to stop riding..these extra places with skybet are crazy..sp 11/2:ninja: it's like stealing money.Finley Marsh said he thought the ground would be to quick,just sums up the overwatering,an absolute joke was the same at Thirsk as well nearer gd/sft than gd/fm there as well..and Newmarket as well looking at the times ffs:lol::lol: middle of summer no fast ground good at best verging on gd/sft..

Just a small interest on Young Tiger the veteran hasn't won since August 2020 and massively regressive,in those last 15 runs has only placed twuce as well so it's very speculative,even though this is only a 0-65 i suspect needs dropping into an even weaker race..Young Tiger gets to run off 50 tomorrow lowest mark since winning off 48 in October 2019,he looks a horrible ride nowadays was a eyecatcher at Ripon behind High Securty and Birkenhead when held up off the pace finishing fastest to be nearest at finish..Then reverted to type again last of 7 at Ripon behind another of tomorriws runners Dapper Man,then another poor run at Newcastle then another poor run at Donny but in that race tried to lead and needs to be held up and behind Bicep another of tomorriws runners..Impossible to make any strong case for it,i'm just looking at the Ripon run when held up..There are three front runners guaranteed in this race,hopefully will be able to sit back off the early pace and maybe come with a late run,as it's a c/d winner so swayed me to have a small bet.. probably one i will back again in lower grade races for a couple of runs but won't turn into a cliff horse..

Legend Of Dubai 7/1 365/hills generally 5 places skybet 7 places


A severe lack of c/d winners in this race,doesn't look a great betting race and there are plenty of poorly handicapped horses running as well,quite unusual for these sort of races at Goodwood,i was going to leave it but i will givew Legend Of Dubai a chance,it won over 1m4fs last season at Ffos las that was after being runner up in a small field nursery.to lone Eagle now rated 113.Reaapeared this season and won easily off a mark of 85 beating Carolus Magnus rated 90 now,that one hasn't won since but has run respectablty,while the third Eilean Dubh beaten over 11ls has since won off 90..Legend Of Dubai then went to Ascot and bombed out,that was the quickest ground it's ever run on so could be an excuse..It doesn't look like the grounds going to be slow this week at Goodwood,it really looks like it could be rattling by the second day,but maybe worth risking the first race on the first day as willl have been watered,you'd expect it bo nearer to good than gd/fm for very first race of they follow the pattern of this seasons watering regime..Looking at the Newmarket win,the ground was good,and its winning time compared favourably tio the 0-105 there and think it justified its rise to a mark of 96..and it's win at Ffos Las has alreay proven stamina..all its other decent form has been on good or slower..The first horses you look at in these races at Goodwood are Varian and Andrea Atzeni,they always get overbet as it did last time almost guaranteee to go off a silly price,so even trading wise you could probably make money..especially if punters see it as the only runner as unexposed.

Maple Jack 9/2 365

Maple Jack has only had six runs,won a maiden last season as a 3yr old over 5fs at Musselburugh beating Ava Go Joe now rated 85 with Rory back in third that one although only rated 65 has run some good races this season in and out but if you just took that run at face value you'd have Maple Jack near mid 70s..That race though was wa back in April 2021,never ran again till january ths year at Southwell,didn't show much and then ran even worse at Swell another two weeks later,those races ran off 72 and 70,came out for first run on the turf since that win on the 18th of June at this track over 5fs in a 0-80..Didn't get a clear run in the last 1/2 furlong wouldn't have been to far off the winner,steps up to 6fs tomorrow,it looks like the ground will be gd/gdsft rain was forecast the horse probably needs it as well being out of Mayson.only a 0-65 tomorrow has been gelded since so wouldn't be overly confident but a repeat of that run in this 0-65 would have to run well..

Rain never came,so frustrating if they'd watered it wouldv'e been slower ground you couldn't make it up and the winner Little Muddy its penultimate run was the best form on good ground..

Have just checked the Ayr forecast and not sure the rain has hit,last night when i checked it had estmate of over 20mm,will be very irrutting as my other bet Maple Jack was relying on that as well not 20mm necessarily but at least need gd/gdsft,am just hoping there is enough because they won't water and if the rain diesn't come then it will be decent ground..Captain Corcoran is one you would just put a line through,rated just 50 running in a 0-55 5f sprint if the ground doesn't change then on previous form has very little chance,if it rains then it has an ew chance..It hasn't won since August 2020 but at least has form on softer ground,has had two runs so far this season 9/9 and 11/16 trainers out of form and jockeys on a nightmare run..It's also had two aw runs since its last turf runs from last season both well beaten,but its last three runs last season were all on gd/sft and soft it was 3/3/3 two of them 0-65s and a 0-60 went off 3/1 and 4/1 fav in two of those races but 20/1 tomorrow 16/1 elsewhere..if there's been enough rain and the going gets changed to gd/sft /soft it might just out run its prices..

And of course as soon as the stable realized the griund wouldn't be soft they took this out,it really is unbelievable 22mm if rain predicted they got less than when watered..

Not the greatest 0-95 over 7fs at Goodwood,although there maybe runners amongst the 3yr olds that could well be better handicapped that are lightly race,The Attorney 2/16 2nd as a 3yr old to Jumby off 92 has already run three times at Goodwood a second here too turpinatr this season off 91..The horse doesn't look well handicapped but a 5th in the Bunbury Cup last time out on fast ground which was another ? against it,that run looks like it proves it goes on it now,previous form no real runs on it,so back on a track it likes,decent draw and back into a weaker handicap..Am not overy confident as highest ever mark,but could just have a little imprivement left and Buick rides,Dance Fever shown nothing lately but one run here September 2021 was 4th off 100 done nothing since althugh at least was second last time out even though just five runners,last years c/d run would make it a big player,Dance Fever is still relatively lighty raced even as a 5yr oldwouldn't discount.

Too much racing doing the form for every meeting including the aw,going to wait till some quieter days before i start betting properly as still recovering from after effects of covid,it's taking me 12-16 hours aday doing the form..



Goodwood 3.0

Lawful Command 16/1 hills 7 places 14/1 365 6 places 14/1 skybet 6 places

Law Commans the only c/d winner in this race 12 runs 4 wins,last two wins have been here but only in weak races,but then went onto run 5th in the Britannia and then 4th at Newmarket behind Jimi Hendrix staying on,back on its favourite track it's now proved it likes fast ground is drawn 4 looks like it is improving then ew chances..

Another place in 5th ran ok how Orbaan could win never won on the track or ground wins by 3ls i bet it was 50/50 it even ran on that ground,only concusion the grounds been massively overwatered..again..all completely exposed horses placed as well a very very weak race..

Second and third again unreal today,great runs nice drift on Laurentia some good picks today,got loads of luck but all of it was bad and so many other winners marked off but still 8/1 6/1 and 7/1 winners today and 8 places places so a reasonable day..a pity gdaay was a non trier if that had placed wouldv'e had some decent multiples..

Got about 30 races marked off tomorrow,trying to sort them into multiples is a nightmare and prces are crashing everywhere,just don't get time to do them just too much racing so for now just these two dodgepots to small stakes..They are not confident picks,but could well be shorteners..

Temur Khan hardly ever wins but did win this race last season off 50 with claimer taking off another 3, tomorrow runs off 48 with claimer taking off 5,hasn't really show anything lately ran a little better last time out at Bath but has run well here in most of its races..The last time it ran on turf was over this c/d went off 2/1 fav off a mark of 59 with the claimer taking off 3,Tony Carroll has this one and the fav Global Style that looks the obvious pick just on consistency and won a 0-60 last time out on the aw..Temur Khan has been going off enormous prices in every race so will be interesting if it's backed against its 5/4 stable mate..An absolutely horrendous race where even the rag could win on a going day,unless the fav has found this trip to be improving as last time out.

Hattie C has been one to avoid gradually its form got worse and worse till eventually won a maiden here over 5 1/2fs by an enormous distance hacking up,the first race on the card that day was a weak 0-70 won by 67 rated Wiley Post that race was a length slower that Hattie C if you took that time at complete face value Hattie C ran to a mark of around 58 with the older horses..It looks a bit odd and runs off just 52 against the 3yr olds tomorrow,and runs over 1/2 furlong further i will give it a chance am wondering if the tipsters might put it up so could get overbet as well,although last time out it went to Sailsbury git beat in a 0-65 only 7/8 at Sailsbury..It might be that ot actually needs a bit of juicethe time recorded wasn't as given gd/fm the griund was good,so a possibility it could be too quick,wwill have a small bet though..You are my world has done nothing going off huge prices all runs then last time out out of nowhere was 3rd in a 0-70 over 7fs at Newbury,it needs to back up that run but if it does then that bit of form is the best in the race..

Hattie C 8/1 hiils/skybet


Hattie C has been one to avoid gradually its form got worse and worse till eventually won a maiden here over 5 1/2fs by an enormous distance hacking up,the first race on the card that day was a weak 0-70 won by 67 rated Wiley Post that race was a length slower that Hattie C if you took that time at complete face value Hattie C ran to a mark of around 58 with the older horses..It looks a bit odd and runs off just 52 against the 3yr olds tomorrow,and runs over 1/2 furlong further i will give it a chance am wondering if the tipsters might put it up so could get overbet as well,although last time out it went to Sailsbury git beat in a 0-65 only 7/8 at Sailsbury..It might be that ot actually needs a bit of juicethe time recorded wasn't as given gd/fm the griund was good,so a possibility it could be too quick,wwill have a small bet though..You are my world has done nothing going off huge prices all runs then last time out out of nowhere was 3rd in a 0-70 over 7fs at Newbury,it needs to back up that run but if it does then that bit of form is the best in the race..

Absolute ridiculous ride on Hattie C thought the huge drift looked smelly three all taking each other on and all three beaten 2fs out..awful rides on all three horses..

Probably the biggest farce i've ever seen today regarding going reports,totally mindblowing Yarmouth,Brighton and Nottingham all massively overwatered and they even had declared the meetings as definite gd/fm after the first races,even though hot temps and drying winds the times were desperately slow,think that's the worst i can remember three meetings in one day like that..Jocks trainers never said a word,really don't understand how they can be so clueless..if they watr those tracks tonight again it will be the same again,srely they couldn't be that stupid??It just makes it impossible to have a bet pre race,the temps are in the middle to high 20s and not even drying the tracks out by the end of the cards,if you look at the Donny track untouched ground at Donny absolutely perfect ground,i will predict that Haydock which is currenty gd/st will be faster than any of these three meetings easily by saturday.

And its even worse than it forst appears as fast tracks like Notts,Brighton and Yarmouth when the get genuine gd/fm ground the clock always shows it you should be seeing times between standard and a second above,this is just farcical..
