Billy Mill and Two Tempting have not got anywhere near in this class and really shouldn't be foguring as some far better horses in the race,Billy Mill 2nd in a c/d 0-80 earlier in the season but lead from a wide draw the time was respectable good effort considering,really shouldn't be good enough in this race but as there's such a lack of c/d form and on the clock then a small ew bet drawn 6..Similary Two Tempting,this horse has been disappointing since winning here off 74 in May over c/d,carried 9-8 that day when winning just a 0-75 for 3yr olds but interesting the time was only .20 slower than saturdays favourite First View and Two Tempting is carrying 20 pounds less in actual weight..Has been very disappointing since running on turf going off short prices,one or two respectable runs like a 5th to Al Marmar at Ascot beaten 1 1/2ls and 5th of 8 to Vee Sight was respectable but last few runs have been poor going off 5/4 and 3/1 and beaten in small fields..If it's better back on this surface it might run ok at these weights,although a stinking draw in the carpark 14..
The horses that stand out are pretty obvious on their turf runs First View Dutch Decoy On A Session Baldemero etc plenty of turf horses with better form its whether they can transfer it to this c/d on the surface

A decent draw couldv'e won that drawn 14 rushes to the front incredible run staying in the places,will settle fir that huge prices sp still 20/1 keep that for your notbook..as i mentioned in write up tthe first two were filled by the two of them mentioned. got 5s 4 places as well and 3.7 5 places.

Going to try some thieving multiples,but i dont have much confidence looking at the going reports,they are changing within hours so doing them the night before you're taking a risk this time of year..but i havve to keep doing them even if it turns out ground goes against..Done Catterick and Goodwood on gd/sft or softer and Leicester on gd/fm..

Incredible El Jadad trades 1.01 i had an ew bet and then bet it at bigger pruces put a lay in at 1.2 and backed it for 3@4 places so a nice touch but ffs then the other getting done at 1.21 in the last as well,can't remember having two races like that back to back getting done in recent times,sickening..

I see its rained everywhere bar Chepstow,you couldn't make it up thus every single pick virtually has drifted like a barge,going to need rain frustrating a load of things marked off at other meetings hammered byt thought the rain would be guaranteed here..This is why i hate september just end up betting on the wring ground.

Good man giggsy I saw your picks late but when I saw peachy had won by a hair length I knew your luck was in. So I did 4 trebles and an acca on willingly, San Juan, funny story and plastic paddy. Delighted with the return. Thanks a mill.
 
Didn't feel very lucky at Newcastle a 25s shot traded 1.01 then the next race i had another trade 1.21,Chepstow is one of my favourite tracks especialy when it gets some soft ground or very quick and the stands side draw holds up,i took the risk with Willingly loves soft ground and it just came in time after the first race nothing on that race was bred to go on the ground..I knew it would get hammered after that rain came it was drifting all the time till an hour befire that race,worked out perfect..opposite with Diamond Cottage i laid that in Peachey Carnehans race,once the rain came it had no chance..One of those tracks if you can predict slow gping you can get some cracking bets there..

Brunch runs off a 106 realistically you'd think there must a be a few better handicapped that's its highest ever mark as well,if saturdays card had been on the 14/1 wouldv'e looked quite good but by sinday with no rain forecast will probably have ruined its chances..Going to try it anyway has,was runner up in the Lincoln here in 2021 off 100,then this season 8th beaten off 104,the likekyhood is that ground in March is going to be identical to his 8th..Just hope the trainer pulls him out if its not got any soft, gd/gdfm in it definite no no.What a i don't see in this race is potential lurkers or group horses,could easily be a younger horse well handicapped but nothing stands out from the more unexposed ones to me anyway..

Bullace 16/1 generally 24s betfair



There has supposedy been a bit of rain it says soft on the going report,will be surprised it it's anywhere near soft by 4.30 or even start of racing as it's been decent weather,hopefully gd/sft so will just have a token bet on Bullace,very exposed and sire Toranado is a gd/fm sire very poor stats on soft and average 11% on gd/sft yet 30.8% on firm..
Last win was off 84 at Newmarket as a 3yr old in April 2021,then ran third to Mosthadaf and Highland Avenue on very soft ground in a listed race got a stinking rise of 13 pound for that run,then only even one respectable run was when 5th of 6 to Mosthadaf again beaten 5ls again on /heavysoft ground,just fading in the last 100 yards..Started this season on 102 did nothing till dropped to 90 then a strong finishing 2nd but only a class 3,ran another poor race 4th of 5 and then last time out a respectable 3rd at chester in a class 2..Non of this form will be good enough to win,so although am not going to take those two listed runs at face value am going to take the view gd/sft ground it may run a little better off 89 has only ever run twice on anything with soft in and those were the different class listed races,may just be regressing or unreliable but its last run was a big improvement..Brunch was also in that listed race and Bullace has a 9 pound turnaround for the 2 1/2ls it finished behind it,if you can take it at face value on desperate ground..
Going still looks very slow at Donny so would add Symbolize to that shortlist now,hasn't won too often but loves soft ground and run some great races at scot runner up to Aldarry twice last season on soft when the field was spreadeagled if grounds that slow looks obvious ew bet as well,i thought it wouldv'e dried out by now a bit annoying as i think my two wanted it just gd/sft at the very worst so a little saver ew on this at 8/1 as well.

Bullace got placed got 20/1 ew and git 7s 5s and 4s 3/4/5 places so will settle for thar nice drift on betfair,think Brunch need the run,an absolutely dire race for its class anfd ground didn't look that bad for the last race slow by 1.6 seconds plus Brunch beat Bullace in that Sandown race..I never took the long lay off into account,he seems to be pretty crap at placing this horse recently..

My rating of 120 3 months ago was spot on and hacks up again Highfield Princess never bothered with it today after missed opportunities..dire stuff tomorrow haen't got a clue what the goings will be thought donny would be quicker today,tracks are obviously taking longer to dry could be good ground tomorrow at brighton,it's complete guessing just some very small bets and multiles..Hopefully the ground will be soft at Thirsk because the horses i've done will need it soft,not sure about Brighton preferably i'd like some drying ground to stop the softer ground horses..just a bit of interst anyway.Would take some of the picks with a pinch of salt as i am guessing on the griund,i'm having pennies on tomorrow..Only thing i can guarantee is Lethal Angel will be odds on unless grounds desperate and the most interesting runner on the card is Roundabout Silver an eyecatcher over 7fs at Sailsbury against a decent winner,but the horse is bred for middle distances out of a sire Silver Pond rated 121 but nothing like tomorrows distance of a mile..One for the notebook and watch tomorrow,could be very wel handicapped in the future.

Lord Sams Castle 16/1 365 14/1 generally


Lord Sam's Castle made its debut at Hamilton in June over 6fs on good ground,finished 2nd and in a decent time .67 slower than the older horse handicap for horses rated upto probably with another run and open ti improvement i would expect that to be the equivalent of somewhere in the mid 80s..The 3rd 2 1/2ls behind it that day already had previous experience,went onto finish 2nd to the decent looking Marshman and then beat Redcars 2nd fav in tuesdays race Prince Nabeel 5/1 in a 0-80 nursery off a mark of 76 and recent 3rd beaten a nk in a 0-85,but after that Lords Sams Castle something has obviously happened disappinting 8th in a maiden at Ayr then gelded then a very poor run in a 7f maiden in a first time visor..It may just simply have had one decent run in it,the prices that it's gone off the last twice and gelded and visor obviously tell the story,it's been put in here off 74 it's a leap of faith now the horse retains that ability o debut run if it did it would be fav to win this race..Betting will surely reflect its chances am not a huge fan of Andrew Mullen he is a job jockey but rides numerous non triers,am going to have to do it and probably will have to keep backing it as i know its really well handicapped on that Hamilton run..This may never run a decent race again you get horses like this every season that you follow and they simply never reproduce it and you end up seeing it in sellers ,probably will give it three chances then stop,as it would be sickening abandoning it after one race..

My rating of 120 3 months ago was spot on and hacks up again Highfield Princess never bothered with it today after missed opportunities..dire stuff tomorrow haen't got a clue what the goings will be thought donny would be quicker today,tracks are obviously taking longer to dry could be good ground tomorrow at brighton,it's complete guessing just some very small bets and multiles..Hopefully the ground will be soft at Thirsk because the horses i've done will need it soft,not sure about Brighton preferably i'd like some drying ground to stop the softer ground horses..just a bit of interst anyway.Would take some of the picks with a pinch of salt as i am guessing on the griund,i'm having pennies on tomorrow..Only thing i can guarantee is Lethal Angel will be odds on unless grounds desperate and the most interesting runner on the card is Roundabout Silver an eyecatcher over 7fs at Sailsbury against a decent winner,but the horse is bred for middle distances out of a sire Silver Pond rated 121 but nothing like tomorrows distance of a mile..One for the notebook and watch tomorrow,could be very wel handicapped in the future.

Looking a bit of a rogue Young Fire now,thorouhky unreliable and has been an eyecatcher numerous times,hasn't wn since July 2021 at some point will pop up but you would be poor following it,last time out ran here over this c/d again the same script no luck in running and looked unlucky to probably not be there about eventually beaten 4 3/4ls..That was first run back on the aw since easily beaten at Wolves in a 0-100 over 7fs,it's on a mark off 88 that's the lowest it's been on the aw since winning way back in February 2020 in a 0-95,takes on the first three from the same race as it's last run over c/d and they all head the market..Its record here is only mediocre although has run in some good races,cetainly not worth betting at prices much less than this but was only 12/1 in that last run,pretty sure it will win somewhere but predicting when would would have you on a long losing run..


Going to do some very speculatve ew multiples,these 0-90s look impossible to me and i rarey touch them as such little form on the surface and from the results i've seen lately would never have picked the winners these races at Newcatle they are run so slowly the form sometimes is meaningless,just some small interest to watch for me in the evening on thursday,will be recovering from the dentist,so thought i'd put them up now..
