Disappointed in some of my teams selections today.

Having reviewed the evidence I feel we've let our selves down retrospective of what FF have given on the day. There were far too many chance bets and the races that were chosen as betting races could have been picked better - The World Hurdle for example wasn't a betting race.

Very surprised that no one was able to find Salut Flo, Cape Tribulation or Sunnyhillboy as they were very much on the radar of our knowledge and betting intelligence which did shock me.

We need some influential changes for the final day in order to regain this title and a little bit of dignity.

yeah i'm disappointed in the team,,...i just don't see how they couldn't have just found all those winners..it looks easy at this time of night

i think some of tother team are those with little dinity tbh:)

Gearoid Norris had three parting words before he logged off TalkingHorses this evening.

"Officially no more," he said, whilst simultaneously lifting his hands to suggest he was putting up the shutters. Presumably, one stint at the captaincy had been enough. The criticisms had been all too wearing.

His team had given their all on the course but their spirit was never better captured than when they sprang for their captain's throat Thursday evening. Gearoid had been asked if he cared about all the complaints about his captaincy.

Not too much ever fazed this Maureens Pub Cheltenham Tipster 2010 champion in his playing days but now he looked more than a little taken aback.

"That's a bit harsh," he replied after pausing to glance at his men. At that, there was a chorus of discontent from his team.

Gearoid may be a bit of an awkward customer and he knows as much. For instance, at the start of the week, he had deemed fit to advise the players' wives and partners that if he appeared to be "looking through them" that would not have been the case. "It's just that I'll be in the zone," he explained.

He was asked for his Vice Captain OnTheBridle to furfil any last day duties and expressed his desire not to be considered for selection.
