Oh god Ted give it a rest. The staking structure was absolute shite but it was the same for both sides. FF will win and you can go away happy.

Here are some of the odds on shots I've selected this week

Tuesday
£125 each way Rock on Ruby 3.20 won 11/1
£250 win Balthazar King 4.00 Won 11/2 (was at least 12/1 in the morning)
£500 win Quevega 4.40 Won 4/7

Wednesday
£150 ew Bobsworth 2.40 Won 9/2
£300 win Simonsig 2.05 Won 2/1
£400 win Sizing Europe 3.20 Lost, not sure of the price, maybe 4/5?

Thursday
£250 each way Thousand Stars 3.20 unplaced at 8/1
£300 win Salut Flo 4.00 Won 9/2
£200 win Catch Me 2.05 2nd at 14/1

Other members of our team have had much bigger priced winners, that's why we're winning. Ferking odds on pickers indeed.

You made it quite clear in the rules Ted that the minium bet was 250 or 125 e/way yet you staked 200 win on Catch Me - surely that's a disqualification. Stewards enquiry! Are there any more discrepancies?

Swedish Chef - Minister For Unprofessional Professional Gamblers - I salute you

I agree, that is a valid objection, I need to go and consult the rule book.
My excuse is that I did take on a big workload and was a bit rushed, but if it made a difference the scoreline for today could be amended.

The Stewards have held an enquiry into the running of Ted's third selection Catch me, who went to post £50 light.
When considering the objection the stewards ruled that the objection was perfectly valid, and they referred to rule 342 Section B namely.
The mimimum stake on any one bet is £250, so if anyone puts less than £250 on any selection, the difference will be deducted from the selection with the highest total stake placed on it. If both of the other selections are for the same stake, then the difference (win or lose) will be deducted equally from both of the other selections. The same total stake deducted be it a win or each way bet.

The stewards saw fit to warn Ted on his future conduct, but agreed that the result was not affected, and therefore stands.

There was nothing wrong with it. What would have been better?

Simon,

Ted has run a great show. I've had a right laugh out of it but I completely disagree with the staking restrictions. It's fine for you chimps on FF but my team is full of temperamental geniuses who it infringes. Regardless of the result tomorrow I'm willing to run an Aintree or Royal Ascot re match where the £1,000 tank can be staked on any market you wish, even a place pot and I will score the lot myself.

Why? Because I can.

By the way, I totally agree with Simon in that there was nothing at all wrong with the staking plan, but in the interest of fair play we will happily take you on again at Royal Ascot, when you can set the rules and we can have have exacta's, quadpots, place only, Union Jacks, and each way accumulators.
Just as long as you find someone to do the settling.

Should have read - Why? Because I can pay Del (Tevez) Boy to do it.
