Dubai World Cup

Four races down and so far a max bet on a 2/1 winner, an 80/1 trifecta, a 16/1 ew winner, and 2 places ew at 8/1 and 6/1. I love Meydan! ;-)

It'd be nice to think so Slim, but it certainly wouldn't be my best day ever, and neither is it likely to happen.

Not unhappy with a 25/1 2nd ew, although I thought he was the winner a furlong out. That pales into insignificance when Suny tipped up the first and second at 16/1 and 25/1. Top tipping Suny. Did you do the forecast?

noforecast

just win and ew

In the 12.50 I'd expect Vazirabad to reverse the form with Beautiful Romance over an extra couple of furlongs. I was there that night and Vazirabad looked as though he was carrying a bit of condition and needed the race. Even so he was plenty close enough to her over short of his optimum. He's a strong win bet. However it's hard to see her out of the frame, and Sheikhzayedroad also looks well clear of the rest. All three act on a soft surface and given they should have too much class I've also added the combination trifecta to the win bet on Vazirabad at 2/1 and ew bets on the other two at 6/1 and 8/1.
Fantastic shout

One of the worst winning rides you'll ever see. That horse is something to overcome all that and still get there and hack up.

Arrogate is some champion. That was hugely impressive, and definitely the best winner I've seen in the Dubai World Cup.Nothing doing in the last two races, but a great day overall. An 80/1 trifecta, a 16/1 winner ew, a 9/2 winner, a max bet on a 2/1 winner, and 3 places ew at 25/1, 8/1 and 6/1.I'll do a kkkkkbbbbbooooommmmm now!

I backed Seventh Heaven when I saw that she was getting 6lbs from the market leaders. What's the deal with the extra allowance?

Punting nightmare for me -chasing from very early in the game but what a meeting.Arrogate was awesome to win from there-very hard to stay unbeaten on dirt in America -but would like to see him do it.Great to see Jack Hobbs back to his best -would love to see him arrive in Paris in that form.Really liked Thunder Snow-they must run him in the Kentucky Derby.
