Durkan Chase

I have just read that the owner of Noland,John Hales for those who don't know, was keen to run in the KG but Nicholls as 'persuaded' him to stick to 2 & half mile races this season.Read into that what you like.

Much as I'd like to see Kauto win again at Kempton, I think Noland deserves to take his chance, too. Disappointing.

Meanwhile, War Of Attrition is set for either the King George or the Lexus.

War Of Attrition has pulled out sound this morning.

Fair to say after three runs, including a Grade 1, the trainer has done well by the horse in his recuperation and race schedule.

Grand news! :) I realy hope he runs in the King George as I am going.

Wish Noland would run there too. John Hales is right to want him in that race.

Is Leopardstown on the menu or will he be put away until the Hennessy?

Even before his injury the horse appeared (wrongly in my opinion) to have a very softly softly approach before Cheltenham. Imagine it will be the same again and he will hunt around in the Lexus.

Wouldn't say that WOA isn't the horse he was just yet Gal. It was his third run back and the first time he's really had a race, no shame in coming third to Noland and The Listener over a trip short of his best.
... and on ground that he really does not handle well.
