I just hated the way they kept hyping up "it's his last race..."

And it shows just how much these horses give physically in the top races.
 
Oh I'd forgotten that - that was another awful day. I was so angry that they needed to bring him back hunter chasing.
 
So So sad for them all, with everything that went on around him back along as well, to finish the story so sadly is all kinds of wrong. But the cheers alll around, the speed it would have happened and the fact that he’d have been full of adrenaline and known nothing about it is at least something. RIP to a superstar.
 
Yes absolutely agree - he would have known nothing. Just gone down with a plop. Awful for the crowd to see on the walkway and expect plenty to have taken photos and sent them to the Daily Mail etc who will all call for jump racing to be banned in all forms.
