In his interview after the race the trainer said novice hurdling
The winner is the horse to take out of the race.
How many horses have won 100k handicap hurdles after stopping into the last two jumps anyone ?... The Iliad winning this race in 1986 comes to mind but that is a long time ago.
Just watched the race back. The winner was awful at the last two I didn't take much notice first time around.
Blatant example of North Corkism from the pair of them. No wonder they can't win an All Ireland anymore.
