Has anyone got any horses in their tracker that they had in mind for this season?

Breathtaking Look is a mare I am very keen on seeing again. She improved 20lbs + on her original rating by the end of 2019. The highlight was beating good opposition in the Group 3 Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster when making all which is her customary way of running.

I am happy to put a line through her following all weather defeat. I feel she will prove her Doncaster win was no fluke.

Stuart Williams has a very exciting prospect to look forward to. A fast mile in a Group 3 around a track like Epsom in a race like the Queen Elizabeth Stakes at the Derby meeting for older fillies and mares would be absoloutely perfect.

I'm sure I'll have plenty in my tracker but I leave the alert facility to let me know when they're due out.

I couldn't name one off the top of my head, though!

Just checked - I have Lope Y Fernandez at 25/1 for the Derby. Going by the date noted, I must have taken it on the morning of the Chesham in anticipation of a big performance. Clever or what...

Careful Marb: before Lingfield, all her form had been on flat, galloping tracks and Lingfield 7& Epsom have meny similarities.

Slim, I think the horses in your tracker would be much more interesting than those of us guessers.

Looking forward to seeing one for Hamdan by Bobby Kitten run in Ireland other than that I'll continue to wait for the day and just back ******* winners...

I wouldn't be too worried. It wasn't her true running, Reet. It looks more like she didn't have good all weather form going into that race at Lingfield.

A long season got the better of her as opposed to the track, imho.

Whether she does or doesn't run at Epsom she is still one to follow. I thought the race mentioned looked the right type of grade/distance for her.

You are right though in the sense than Epsom can catch horses out.

Charlton had a bad 2018 but bounced back last year. He seemed to have a lot of decent 2yos, not just Quadrilateral. The three that come to mind are Bullfinch, Pocket Square and Dancing Harry.
The one I want to put forward is Dancing Harry. Now a good horse deserves a good name and this is a terrible name. He made his debut at the October Newbury meeting (as did Bullfinch). He was entered in an 8f novices race with the stable jockey on a gelding called Louganini. However on the morning of the race Louganini (6-1) at the time was withdrawn and Watson jumped on the stable outsider, who eventually started at 16-1. On heavy ground Watson was in the rear at halfway and then started pushing. He made some ground on the inside and was then switched out at the distance. Without being hard ridden he wore down the leaders and won in the end comfortably.
Now victories in end-of-season 2yo races on heavy going can be pretty misleading, but the 2nd and 3rd had decent form and the 4th won next time out, Perhaps a bigger tip was that Louganini came out a week later and won a very reasonable maiden at Newmarket.
I think Dancing Harry could be a colt to follow this year as I'm sure he will be better as a 3yo. He comes from a fine family and most of us would know Slip Anchor as the most recent top class horse from this family. It is the German S family.
By Camelot I'd expect him to be suited to 10f plus, but should easily stay 14f. He obviously can deliver on soft ground but let's hope he gets a chance to run this year.

Can not wait to see Buckhurst in action again

Loved this colt since his debut win last season for Joseph O'Brien, and was winning Group 3 races in the summer.

Pretty confident that he is a Group 1 winner waiting to happen

With France hopefully starting next week will put up a "Dark Horse" called Gold Trip

Caught my eye when 2nd on debut late last season and then disappointed on next run, but is under the care of the under rated Fabrice Chappet and should win a race or two as a 3 year old

Irish Flat racing not looking likely now for at least a month, but will be watching out for this Aidan O'Brien filly: Heaven Of Heavens

She disappointed on both runs last season, but I think major improvement is on the cards as a 3 year old

Based on what? Even So has hardly done her form much good getting run over when backed like she was a Group 1 horse .

True, but was given an educational first run and possibly last time something was amiss as eased last furlong and a half and both runs on soft ground.

Runs tomorrow at Saint Coud [2pm]

Each Way bet at 40-1 [Bet 365]..

Good stuff pal.

Hopefully this thread can produce the goods.

I wouldn't swap my fancy Breathtaking Look for anything.

Goes well first time out as well.

Do we know when the Derby meeting is on yet by any chance?
