Just back from cooking for the five hundred - well, twenty or so - ravenous murdering Field Sport fanatics.... aka, my local shoot.

Their menu was Lasagne Al Forno and then Choc hip Shortbread (or should that be 'shotbread'?), homemade Danish Pastries and Maple Pecan Flapjacks......

So cooking for you lot will be a piece of piss....

Songsheet, perhaps the lads can be in charge of the main courses, and you and Krizon in charge of making the deserts - can I have custard with mine please?. I love custard. Ardross and Brian H can be in charge of the wine and champers.

I will do the washing up!!! :)

I used to live in a desert, Kathy, not make 'em! :D Jules - so the shoot's on a high carb diet, then? Wot? No stag roast? :o

Oh, not more bleedin' mysteries than the Necronomicon, per-leeze! What is with you and him lately? 'I know something, but I'm not putting it on here?' More teasers than the warm-up acts at Coolmore...

Here's a picture of Krizon in the desert

:D :D There's another 'desert' cartoon I once saw and loved, with a wrecked toff in a dinner suit clawing his way across the sands, whimpering "Champagne... champagne..." Looked just like Ardross, actually!

I made a rather excellent King Prawn in a white wine Pesto seved on a bed of linquine last night.

(ps..Dubs - the best deals in freshest herbs and frozen Seafood are at The Chinese Market in Clarenden Street.)

I remember seeing a cartoon on the front cover of Punch some years ago - there were two castaways on a desert island sitting under a palm tree, and one says to the other, "if you got to be rescued, which eight coconuts would you take with you?".
